Last Sat 20 June, accompanied YW to Orchard after dance.. Oohs, btw she went for my dance class too^^ A lot of new people went for last sat's class, cos the chairperson told us to bring a friend along, dunno what's going to happen, we just followed instructions & tadah! The dance studio's crowded.. Hehe..

Orchard's 1st stop: Paragon.. Kicks off the luxury brand trail with Ralph Lauren.. Fitting room's so big, like a hotel bathroom minus bathroom facilities, plus a big big mirror. Next stops were Burberry, COACH, Kate Spade (i cant rmb the sequence, i just know that whichover shops YW go to, she'll show interest in some 菜篮bag. Lols.. As in the bag will look like a 菜篮 (veggie basket) when one puts things into the bag cos of it's shape.

I arent a fan of luxury brands~
i usually just walk past their stores, never had the intention to step in, at most just throw a glance at whats on display in their giant store window showcase, though most of the time i would be checking out my own reflections in the glass window panels.
Those who know me will know that i like to see my own reflections, be it against mirrors (duh!?), or tinted windows... very much prefer the noticeboards w plastic cover panels in my JC.. And the vending machines in my Univ.. I would walk past the noticeboards or vending machines, look into it as if i'm reading or checking out what's on sale =p Subtlety..

Walked quite alot that day neh~ Paragon-Ngee Ann City-Heeren then back to Ngee Ann City again to help Samarx buy her Liang Wenyin book, continued walking to Centrepoint where i bought Marks & Spencer's delicious dark choco biscuits... Before reaching Plaza Sing~

Surprise of the day:
1) Saw one copy of one of KAT-TUN's older album taiwan's edition (i've never seen a tw-press CD of KAT-TUN in Spore before.. taiwan version CD album cost ard $20+ to $30, while japanese version CD album cost anywhere between $40+ to $70+)
So imagine my delight when i saw the one & only copy~ Excited sia!! Buy or don't buy??? *Thinks*
Didn't have to think for long actually. Faster buy before it disappears & i'll have to live with the regret.. Bleahs..
Used my bday present HMV vouchers to buy the album, so technically, thats my birthday present!!^^ Hohoh~

2) Saw Valerie whom i hadnt seen for a year.. Hmm actually, it's Val who saw me, i was busy sms-ing then she waved (while standing right in front of me) to catch my attention.. She looks fashionably hip in her hip hop gear^^

I like the surprises, only sad thing was, i couldnt lay my hands on the only thing that i'd in mind to buy that day -- Tohoshinki's latest single Share The World.. HMV staff said it was out of stock & new stock arrival's not confirmed =x
WHY so fast out of stock &^#%* ??!?!??!?! (on the other hand, i should be happy that Tohoshinki's so popular in Singapore cos singles dun usually sell that well, $16-$20 for a maximum of like only 3 songs?)

And i always ended up buying other stuff.. Hehe, whenever i go out, i'll spend some $.. Sometimes it's $$$.. Hehe..
Cos when i SEE, i LIKE, i THINK a lil, and i will BUY..

MON 22 June
Day of 2 outings~

Noon: With Jul & Mich at Bugis
Evening/Night: Belated birthday dinner for June with Cindy, XZ, Samarx at Marina Square

1st thing we did was to go Kino at Bugis Junc, Mich wanted to buy the whole set of Twilight since more than a month ago (now it's on 20% discount --few sets left, faster buy!).. As for me, i bought a Korean mag Junior with FT Island on the cover.. Random buy~
FT Island's like a pop rock band made up of high sch boys (all of them younger than me =8 DARN!) They actually looked like Japanese boyband members initially.. Hehe.. Don't be mistaken, i like them cos i love their songs, not cos of their looks.. I still dunno who's who in the band.. Until i flipped through the magazine, began to recognise the members^^
Love the vocalist's husky voice, he turned out to be a pretty prettyboy.. Oohs.. Face dun match voice neh~

[edit: found out that FT Island's in Singapore on 27 June for a showcase at Dragonfly at St James from Straits Times Life 'Events' listing.... Wonder if they've other performances or interviews... Would love to see their interviews in local papers/magazines]

We also went to Illuma.. Some shops are still under renovations..
Took pictures in front of the interesting wallpapers, wonder what new shops are coming up~

Going bananas!! Hehe.. messy hair~

James Bond, Bruce Lee, Marilyn Monroe, Snoopy~ I love those wallpapers..

Next we went National Library, Bras Basah Complex, before heading to Raffles City. Oohs i didnt know it's THAT near! Mich & Jul bought 3 'side dishes' at Burger King, a bit weird choice combination of fries, hershey's sundae pie & yam pie which they took quite sometime to come up with & that riled the BK counter staff. Hehe.. Walked forward (looking keen to order), then erm.. wait.. step back to consider.. To and fro.. If i was the counter staff, my face will turn black also la~ Hehe..

Free 'entertainment' in BK..
2 GYAs came in & sat 2 tables away from us.. I couldnt see, so the kaypoh me shifted to the opposite side (3 of us sitting side by side) as the 2 guys went to buy food.

Woahs.. The 1st guy who came back seemed to have put on foundation to make his face look 2 tones lighter, with faux eyelashes to make his eyes *blink blink nice nice*
Then as he put down his tray, he screamed 'Ahhhhh...'
Dunno what the hell happened, 3 of us looked in his direction, his hands were raised up in the air, fingers still quivering in shock/fear.. Didnt get to see his facial expression cos he was facing the opposite side, it's a blessing.. Yeah. We don't wanna choke on french fries..

I asked Mich 'What happened?' Mich replied 'I don't know and i don't want to know'
Hoots.. Cool reply~ Hehehehhehheh..

Then the 2nd guy came, he seemed to have put on more than a little blusher, his face looks fair (though not as fair as the 1st guy) and pinkish..
1st guy told 2nd guy (shall name them the faux eyelashes guy & blusher guy.. sounds kinda wrong but who cares? i arent fabricating stories.. it's true!) he spilt his drink in a helpless tone..
Ohhhhh.. I see.. BIG DEAL wor!? If it were me, i would go 'Sheeeeet! WTF/WTH...' and perhaps continue to blurt out a string of expletives..
Never in my life would i scream and act like damsel in distress like that faux eyelashes guy. That was such an Epic Win~

So blusher guy went to ask a BK staff to mop up the mess. --英雄救美
OMG! Can't believe i used this expression~~~~~ Rofl..

Of course, there were other hand gestures by faux eyelashes guy that were super feminine, making me cringe whenever i caught a glimpse of it. I was reading Tantei Gakuen comic book borrowed from the library & glanced up from time to time..

Seeing the way he picks up the food, the way he eats, while talking and stuff.. Eewww.. Goosebumps~
Makes me feel like a 'real man' if i were to sit beside him..

The blurry effect turned out nice.. Lols..

We left BK for Cityhall mrt, i bid gdbye to Mich & Jul and said hi to XZ who came after work..
Spells the start of next gathering~!

Cindy & I went shopping last fri to get June's present.. Put into 2 big plastic bags~~ Hehe..
We were fine with dining anywhere, stood in front of Swensens, Changing Appetites & Cafe Cartel, bday girl June yi-ni-mai-ni-yi-ni-mo.. Picked Cafe Cartel.. Hehe..
I shared Chicken salad & Mixed Seafood combo with Samarx.. The fish in the seafood combo was a disappointment, so salty neh! Then the food portion's quite little.. Leaving much room in the stomach for butter bread.. Free flow of bread at Cartel.. I like to lather butter onto the french loaf to make it tasty (ignoring the carbs & fats = lots of calories)
Haven't been to Cartel in awhile~ Hoots they changed the type of bread and butter.. Prefer the previous mini loaf type of bread..

Birthday girl June with the cuddly teddy!~ I don't know why June & Cindy bent lower to match XZ's height & Samarx too neh.. Make me look the tallest in there.. Heheh.. What a good illusion~

After 9pm half priced cakes!!!!!!!!!!
New York Cheesecake rocks!~ Love the lemon zest infused into the smooth cheesecake
Chewy Chocolate cake^^ Love chocolate cakes

Pics taken in Illuma & BK thanks to Julie & her cam & got pics taken after mon's dinner thanks to June posting on FB~

Cloud seems free but at the same time she keeps herself busy.. Somehow..

And she just got to know that an event that seems really fun~ Youth Mascot Parade on 27 June.. Coming Sat!

Scrolled thru the msn nicks of my friends, saw Pekkie had changed her 'Tohoshinki. Tokyo Dome. Tohoshinki. Tokyo Dome. [DBSK written in Korean characters] [Arashi written in kanji]Not Secret: I'm willing to spend money for a ticket and a trip to Tokyo' for the past month to 'Going to Tokyo on July 4/5th [DBSK written in Korean characters] [Arashi written in Japanese kanji]'
Lucky girl who's in Osaka for exchange the past month, went to watch DBSK's concert in Osaka after making much effort to lay her hands on a much-coveted ticket... Now she's heading to Tokyo, i hope she'll eventually get Tokyo Dome tickets, if not she'll probably linger outside the concert venue & keep a lookout for those 'last-min ticket sales'

Saw many friends in different countries and cities.. Today's msn nick 'New York' tomorrow's 'Philadelphia'... From 'insert name XX in Sydney' to 'XX in Canberra'.. Or 'XX on cruise'.. 'Day 123 in Taipei' 'Getting ready to ship back a motherload of stuff' (after a long Europe tour).. 'XX in Abu Dhabi' --hmm wheres Abu Dhabi? sounds familiar but i forgot where it is.
Then on Facebook, i see new photo albums from overseas trips being uploaded regularly..
Wahhhhh.. I also want to go on holiday!! Go on exchange prog!
But Cloud's not rich..
She don't want to just go Malaysia for a short trip kinda holiday.. Not shuang3 enough..
Hmm..
Need to save up when she gets a job..
