went for delta house function just now
final verdict: better food & goodie bags compared to alpha house
but lack of performances so the atmosphere just wasnt there
the canteen is such an enclosed area such that once the rockband started playing, i souldnt possibly stay in the canteen without bursting my eardrums, so basically i didnt catch much of the performance.. the beatboxing by a sec sch kid's great, the magic show's arent interesting, wonder why they dont get binbin to perform instead, maybe we were too accustomed to bin's style of magic tricks that the magician's style didnt attract my attention... Gee i was busy eating..
okays, i think that's all, i finally got to know who is jas' new eye candy

okays.. maybe i shant join kidsread this coming july, since i can accumulate enough CIP hrs by doing phto assignments for sch events & volunteering for FAU during school events.

Getting bored in school today..
1st period econs test, dont know what i'm writing abt, my 8 marks & 17 marks essay answer din differ much in length, cant think of any more crap to add in for the 17 marks one. Wonder how many marks will i get out of the 1st ever econs test that i've in my entire life.. sounds exaggerated erh??
now, free period, waiting to go for photographic society's activity, cuz after 4 mths, I finally realised that i'm damn slack, only staying back in sch on thur for CCS & i lost hope in sc co...Maybe i'll go for the career fair later with sam, to kill time..Ahahahahah

Hmm.. I don't like to write long entries, too boring for me to read & others too i guess. So ah sam arh... Sorry to disappoint you. I think short & sweet is the best. Cuz i always need to exercise my speed reading & summary skills when reading long entries in my friends' blogs.
Now I'm in school..it's freezing cold & i'm going to turn into an ice sculpture real soon. Brrr... Cold!

Went to National Library today to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of Kidsread. Time flies, I'd been volunteering in this programme for almost a year, seeing improvements in reading abilities of underpriveilaged
children. The balloon sculpturing show was weird, but i do enjoy looking at fanciful balloons made, from a fishing rod with a fish on 'hook', to giraffes... if i were 10 years younger i would be dying to lay my hands on one of this creations too. Love the goodie bag! Hot pink in colour okays?? With a cute finger puppet, mine's an octopus, the others got animals ranging from crabs, starfish, sharks to parrot, tortoise, fish.. So kawaii! I want to collect them all!!! Overall, it was enjoyable as we neednt do anything, as there were cchs students helping to take care of the kids.

Visit to ICA (Immigrant & Checkpoints Authority in Tuas)
On Wednesday, our cg went on a Learning Journey ( journey to the west...erhmm..i mean the west of Singapore) After listening to introductory presentations, we were given refereshments---a buffet spread! Wow! A pleasnt surprise as we didnt expect any special 'treatment' during our short trip.
The newly crowned 'fastest pancake eater' in the competition held in school earlier on , declared that he can stuff an entire spring roll into his mouth, which only filled half of it. (What a big mouth he has! little wonder he can wolf down the most pancakes)
After eating, we watched the narcotic & explosive detecting dogs, which were trained to detect hidden illicit drugs in vehicles and explosives respectively. Brave da ren & di volunteered to wrestle a towel & tennis ball clenched in the teeth of the dogs away from them. Both were left with slimy hands with sticky dog saliva...Argh! Whereas we girls are busy taking photos or video clips of the dogs. Heez. We like to look at doggies, just dont want to get to close to those big dogs. Scary!
Nevertheless, it was a fun trip! Better than the one i'd last year- the museum trip.
on good friday yunn twisted her ankle again...Ouch! How good can it get?!?

What's the difference between a raw carrot & egg & coffee powder?
Put them in a pot of boiling water and you'll see the difference.
The raw carrot which seemed to be the hardest initially, turned soft
The raw egg which seemed to be fragile, hardly had any changes, until you peeled away the shell & see that it's strong enough to leave the protective shell
The coffee powder which seemed minute and insignificant initially, turned the water into aromatic coffee.
Amazing isn't it?
The boiling water signifies life's challenges
The carrot: people who may seem to be successful and life was a breeze to them, until they dropped into the pot of boiling water
The coffee powder: seemingly insignificant 'xiao3 ren2 wu4' but have the ability to overcome obstacles and turn the tide when the time comes

i'm still stuck at level 11 of the wicked & level 5 of the wicked junior..
help me pls pig! need help from char & fen if yall manage to solve these riddles.
the main difference of these 2 games is that the wicked requires some IT knowledge to get through the levels, such as looking through the source codes while the junior version is just about thinking.. and more thinking.. Does that mean that my IT skills are better than my brains?

While walking down the staircase in school on Mon, i missed a step and *kabong!!! i crashed down and landed awkwardly. I bent my knee and grabbed the railings to keep myself from rolling down e stairs.. in e process, i sprained my ankle. Ouch!!! Sad thing was, I was alone in e stairwell of e admin blk & had to limp my way down to the GO. The 2pple at General Office were clueless abt wat to do to me, so they called a first aider from dont know where. So i sat in GO(waiting)(my foot hurting), teachers & VPs in the GO were concerned & went forward to ask what happened to me. So touched, but so many of them see me in this 'lang2 bei4' state..*shy* The first aider's e VP of FAU who attended to me tried persuading me to join FAU, so next time I can save myself when this kind of things happen again. Oh my.. I could hardly walk after e injury, how to save myself?
My foot's still swollen today..
