Dropped by White Sands last thursday & i saw this...
The filming of Kym's variety show '请你来变装' guest host of the day's Rayson Tan.
Took a long long while to film this thing, the host have to like repeat the same script several times for the cameramen to shoot from diff angles.. certainly unlike what we usually see on tv -the smooth edited version. So much so that i only watched a lil of the live show, got so sian with all that waiting.
As you can see, the crowds~~
So i stood at the side of the stage..
The one holding the mike is Kym Ng, as i said i was standing at the side & my digicam's got no battery after the badminton match, so the pictures i'd taken with my hp kinda shucks.
I also saw some familiar faces among the backstage crew members.. from '摆家乐' '小甜甜' who helped Mark Lee in the show & also 'Ah Boon' who helped Bryan Wong.
This is Rayson aka chen tai ming with Contestant No.1.. Aiyo duno doing what, they were supposed to act out some parts of a show. But i have no recollection of the scene & that character the girl's supposed to portray.. Hmm maybe i'm getting old & my memory's failing me or maybe i'm too young to know of the existence of such an ancient drama.
I think i was standing quite near the stage, maybe i got caught on camera? Dunno leh.. Shall watch the episode & scrutinise the right side of the stage for someone who's in dark green polo tee.

Broadway jazz
Went for broadway jazz at some ulu-ulu dance studio off Alexander Rd... my 3rd choice of activity. No idea why i signed up online for dragonboating (yet didnt get it when my frens did, thought it was on 1st-come-1st-serve basis?) 2nd choice's clay target shooting (can play with real bullets!), i just put jazz for fun... In the end had to go.. so haiz just go for it~~ since i'd tried hiphop & not jazz b4.
It turned out that broadway jazz isnt for me, i dont like the dance choreography so i doubted i put in effort to learn the steps. Technique practice wise, i'm pretty ok with it since it resembles pilates. I just anyhow-anyhow try to cruise my way through dancing, supposed to prance & dance across the room & i played cheat by walking~ Nyeh~ i dont like it. Guess i should just stick to hiphop & other more freestyle genres...
Went Vivocity after that with ya wen... much more exciting there i guess hehe..
The dance studio is a lil near vivo..
This is what we spotted there.. flaming orange LAMBORGHINI (did i spell correctly?) parked in the 1st storey for some roadshow. Rocks 101%!!! So cool & sleek looking (look at those curves oooh~), captivating onlookers with it's exotic beauty & prompting almost everyone to whip out their camera phones & take a snapshot of it for posterity.

Today's inter-cg games, just played 3 captain's ball matches, skipping frisbee & whatever thats coming up later for air con in the comp lab.
Yesterday was inter-pdp games, i played a game of floorball then went to shoot for photo soc. Nice! There's many events happening around sch & i amassed 100+ shots within an hour of walking under the HOT hot sun. melting in progress

Rotting away till 2pm for broadway jazz lessons at the studio that-is-at-dunno-where-exactly-it-is place. May have some probs coming home since there's only 1 way transport there.

BADMINTON GIRLS FINALS on 24/05
Teejay girls pitted their skills against rjaycee... Loved the giant banners hung up on the walls.
Teejay badminton hadnt been able to win the pilot pen championships for dunno-how-long-exactly-but-i-know-it's very-long. Always lose to rjaycee. So history repeats itself this aftn in toa payoh, falling at the last hurdle must have been a real disappointment for the girls.. Cant help it la.. But i kinda admit the score succcckkksss... 5-0..

I turned up for the match half-expecting us to lose, just went cos i hadnt watched a single match this year, missed volleyball boys semis due to lessons. Didnt hear much from bball & soccer girls.. maybe cos i arent listening during morning assembly or i ponned too much school? lol
Or they simply arent good enough..
Many other schmates shared my sentiments.. Overheard some guy saying 'Hey i come here for the free Milo de, dun need to watch match liao, we're losing anyway' as he joined the queue for free milo outside the sports hall for his Nth cup of yummy milo. Another one said 'This Milo tasted better... cos it's free!' There's nothing wrong behaving like the typical Singaporean, but then you dun have to spell it out so explicitly. Wahhahhha... Stifling my laughter as i sipped my (N+1) th cup of Milo.

My Kind of EmO
As the title says, this post is kinda EMO. Not my usual kind of posts, in fact, this is the 1st time that im publishing something like that here. Exploring the other side of me. My dear frens pls dun be shocked, i arent overtly upset or sth & planning anything drastic. Haha
So if u're looking for a light read, i suggest you skip this super LONG post & scroll down to read the other funny/interesting posts that i've. Plenty. Or at least to me, they're.
Inspired by Verena's mother's day emo post abt her parents..
I decided to write one too. EMO emo emo.
I know what she wants. Not material wealth but care & concern. BUT
All i want is the opposite.
I dont need so much unnecessary concern. I dont need so much attention. I arent those plant cells placed under the microscope. I would like to be left alone. Call that living in my own world of whatsoever. Give me $$$, computer w 24h internet access, tv, radio, food (if possible) Thats enough to pacify me. I arent no demanding baby.
I would very much like to be left alone. Thats why im a night owl i guess. I love the silence, feel the isolation & be away from your sight for that precious few hrs. My only escape. The other not-too-constructive escape will be to sleep my way thru. It's like playing dead. Since im a sound sleeper, it's hard2 wake me up if i dont want to. Just like shutting my ears by flapping them closed when i dont want to hear what i alrdy heard a zillion times b4.
Why cant you reach home later?
Spare me the agony of having to listen to a barrage of stuff that you repeat every single day w/o fail, yet stubbornly refused to stop saying. It's always a relief to know that you're asleep, cos i'll get at least a couple of hrs of peace b4 you're awakened by the lights & start bellowing in your thunderous voice to remind me of the time & shoo me off to sleep. Cant you see that i've got work to do? I dont need you to tell the time, i've 4 watches, 2 clocks & 1 hp on my desk, it's not as though i need you to announce to the whole family that it's 2am now.
You think what? Monkey see monkey do? I've my own brain which is in pristine condition & functioning properly. I dont need you to dictate my life. I arent a carbon copy of you either, so pls stop trying to impose your 'perfect life' notions & 'values' on me. STOP!!! I know how to live my life. Definitely NOT the way you live yours.
When i say nothing at all. Doesnt mean i agree with all that crap, it's just that im too tired & lazy to care cos since when you listen to me. You just continue on & on like nobody's business. Yeah. You're always right. I KNOW. Arguing my point just make me feel angrier & feel like throwing a chair to shut you up. Silence is the best remedy.

No parental guidance needed as im old enough to shake off unnecessary parental influences thats getting on my nerves. Nothing goes in anyway, so if i were you, i wouldnt bother to care so much.

I wont fall into bad company by going out & coming home at night (note: it's nowhere near midnight) I wont be stupid enough to look at some ah beng/ah lian & get myself beaten up in some stairwell. Mind you. I arent a 3yr old sucking lollipops, so you can jolly well stop saying those same old reminders that're so common sense.

Being constantly thrifty is tiring. It's not that im born with the 美德 of frugality, it's just that there isnt room for me to lavish. Just enough to eat (not in cafes & restaurants but in kopitiams) 吃不饱饿不死 thats the word. I long to be able to splash $ to buy those 1001 things on my wishlist whereby i usually get nothing out of them, except the joy of seeing the item being written on paper. I arent materialistic but retail therapy & 战利品 makes most girls ecstatic.
I always dream of the day whereby im free to shop anywhere i like (i arent talking about Gucci/LV but Far east plaza/Bugis. Not needing to check out the prices e 1st thing i pick up the item, only to put it back in disappointment when i see that beautiful price tag. I dont wanna just walk away again.
Im pissed with my life. Gets really sickening & monotonous sometimes. So restricted. I wanna break out of it soon. I scream deep down my heart. Feeling the throbbing pain. The trapped soul seeks no way out it the dead end.
I want to break away but i cant. The feathers on my wings have taken shape, but has yet matured, cant withstand long flights, cos i lack sth really impt in life. It isnt everything, but if u dun have it, dun ever think of venturing far.
Think a maze with 101 dead ends. It isnt meant to be completed.

I arent the typical angsty teen i guess. I've nth against e society for my 'plight'. It's just ME. A person with diff stimes contrasting views & thoughts, i call that e diff side of me (not split personality la) I rmb wat Yi-an said b4, my ans to Qs are usually diff from the rest, i can like tell her there's 2 ways to view the issue & explain each side then think of the 3rd way to answer along the way. Sounds so GP. I can see multiple sides of the story, i can put myself in diff pple's shoes, but when i do that & see the light yet the person dont, i get annoyed.
Besides threats dont work on me. I rmb putting that as my msn nick sometime back when i got all Fk-ed up. You threaten me say you'll do this do that if i dont do this do that, say you'll get angry & hit me. Oh c'mon. You think im such a weakling? Violence begets violence. Dont think i dun dare to resort to violence when the god-damned situation arises. You forced me too.
Speak of the raging fury hot devil waiting to break out. The trapped soul thats pounding on the windows of my heart longing to be let out for some fresh air. Suffocating in my own silent shell.

But i arent giving up. Just waiting. WAITING. For my wings to be ready to take flight. I dont feel that sense of belonging when i should, given e conventional thinking that im better taken care of with QUALITY time spent with parents. Fuck the convention. QUANTITY is inequivalent to QUALITY folks!
Tears rolled down my cheeks whenever i think of this, so writing this issue is a big chore. Im wasting tissues. Always been like that thats why i rarely spoke of this. I adopt a devil-may-care attitude to protect myself, a young soul thats weary & believe that theres no easy way out. I cant choose e family im born into right?
Tears. Tears. Tears. Silent as they can be. But nonetheless a powerful form of expulsion.
Not crying out to attract attention. Not crying out with tears of joy. But overwhelmed by emotions.
Like a river that bursts it's banks, tears flow when thoughts of frustration & helplessness set in. There's little i can do to stop it.. except not to think of it. Not very constructive of course. Outcome of Project Problem: UNSOLVED.
Soaking up the beautiful serenity of the night. The transquility is marred only by the sounds of trickling water down the pipes, e occasional solitary vehicle on the road & e flipping of my foolscap paper draft (4pgs in all). I arent gg2 do much editing, but i drafted it by hand as my frantic typing on the keyboard will certainly wake someone up & an unwelcome round of naggings ensues...
I dont want all that.

Gp tutor treated us to MAC breakfast -sausage mcmuffin, apple pie & fresh milk... Yipppeee! Yummy! Hadnt eaten Mac for quite sometime & i think their potions are shrinking, so i'd absolutely no difficulty in finishing my 2nd breakfast of the morning. To think that Darren can finish 5 mcmuffins (extra burgers originally meant 4 absentees & 'gifts' from those who dun want to eat them)...
i alrdy had a mugful of HL milk early morning. Later during lunch clover gave me her pkt of milk as she's taking medication, so i ended up drinking 3 servings of milk. I'm becoming a baby cow soon~

COLLEGE cleanup~
Our class was supposed to clean the hall... 1st time that people are complaining that the hall's big. But before i got to work, i had this interesting find backstage -2 golden frames.. Excellent background for taking pics!^^ So how can we miss this great photo opportunity?
Clover helped me to rearrange the frames, so they look kinda artistic isnt it? I love that pose too.. Look like pyramid game lols... And i am at the top of it! Yippeeeee!

After the cleanup it was almost 5pm but since it's a FRIday~
So it's time to relax a lil so i went to catch a movie with qiling, verena, jiahui & darren.
[28 weeks later] 1st M18 movie that i'd watched ever since i turned 18, out of the 5 of us, ql's the only one who's underaged, but we managed to pass thru without check with dr towering in front of us & me standing in front of ql... haha then when the usher said 'thank you pls enjoy the show' ql replied 'thank you' so sweetly..
IT's so boring can? About a virus that caused people toturn zombie-like run around & bite others affected & wiped out the entire London's population, 28 weeks later, the US military allowed some residents to move back into a 'safe zone'. Then one thing led to another -2nd outbreak that affected that escalated into something worse than the 1st outbreak. The movie ended with a big bunch of zombies running into Paris. Yeah seemed like the whole world gotta be destroyed like that. Doomsday liao arh! So stupid...
Kinda gory (thats why it's M18 and not PG) I was looking around and saw jh hiding behind her black jacket, dr with his hands on his face (he said he's not scared.. yeah right mai4 gei4 gei4 hor cover already still not scared)
As for me... I've got no feeling one leh, cos i think the gory scenes are like 'fast forwarded' so they dun show that much gross stuff, just blood splattering around. Esp the scene whereby the pilot used the blades of the helicopter to slash the zombies on the ground by tilting his helicopter. All red colour.. Cant see a anything disgusting la as long as you dun imagine too much..
As for me... I've got no feeling one leh, cos i think the gory scenes are like 'fast forwarded' so they dun show that much gross stuff, just blood splattering around. Supposed to relax but turned out to be more stressful. Darren said it's a nice movie.. oh wth.. Looks like i am the only one who's left with sanity after the movie.
So i ended up taking pics to cure my boredom as they sat there for more than 20min (but according to ql it seemed like 20 sec to her) trying to recover.I like the picture below's background colour, so cool as though i put in some special effects, but no, i did nothing to enhance the pic...

Such nice night scenery, it's a pity they arent in the mood to enjoy~We should have ditched dr and watched Spiderman 3 instead since all of us hadnt watched it.

Visit to teejay by Japanese students
Disclaimer: Many people would have guessed that i volunteered to shoot this event was to see 日本帅哥. BUT NO! It's cos the rest of the photographic society people want free tickets to watch concerts so before i know a thing, all the other event duties had been snapped up.
But somehow this blog post about their visit is going to tend to hc-ness (花痴-ness)
Prolly cos i am a 'flower eater' as said by Yawen? And cos almost all the 160 odd visitors are guys, so besides talking about guys, what can i do? Lol
*erhmm did i hear u say 'EXCUSES?'*
840am: The Japanese students arrived! My first reaction was: 'HUH?! How come all guys?' as groups and groups of guys started streaming in. COOL HAIRSTYLES!!!!! Like 明星 and anime characters. hehe... Some of them look very 秀气 (in other words, look like girl la), moreover majority of them are very fair. One interesting thing that i notice is that: Even though they all wear the same uniform (white shirts -both short sleeves and long sleeves paired with black long pants) they wear them differently & creatively.
1) Some tuck fitting shirts neatly into their fitting pants, wearing a stylo studded belt to show of their lean figures?? haha that look is cool enough to go from classroom to Orchard road.
2) An eye-catching belt slung on loose-fitting pants and slightly baggy shirts (fusion of trendy hipster jeans and sch uniforms)
3) They wear another t-shirt or singlet beneath their white shirts (some with loud prints/words, thats kinda see-through from their white shirts... have similar effect of girls wearing coloured bras beneath white tops?)
Singapore's weather is already so hot & humid, yet they can wear layers of clothing & i didnt see any of them perspiring -----AMAZING!
4) Leave 1st few buttons of their shirts unbuttoned to show coloured singlets/t-shirts with nice metallic necklaces or a trendy shiny metallic camera hung on the neck in place of a necklace
Hot weather or cool fashion statement?
5) A handful of them folded up their long pants & they became trendy three-quarters
Again, hot weather or cool fashion statement??
6) Spotted many of them wearing Converse canvas shoes ---- a Pan-Asian looking fella sported a similar pair as mine. Regretted not wearing my own ostentatious black-red-yellow ankle-length canvas shoes that day = . =
7) Spotted at least 2 of them wearing fashionable sunglasses (though the shades are residing on top of their heads most of the time) haha... i dun think the Sun is exceptionally bright in teejay that morning?
It's amazing to see how versatile their uniforms are. Compared to teejay's dirty green uniforms... Sighes i rather not think...
Schedule for the morning:
Intro to teejay with a video shown countless times to new J1s, skits by Tourism Club members ( a lil too sian), principal address, Japanese student representative speaking in halting english (introducing their Kuramae Industrial Sch.. i wanted to know what those 15-18 yr olds are learning there couldnt make out the heavily accented words). Up next were guitar performance & sheng (a chinese instrument which produces unexpectedly melodious sounds that left the jap teachers talking abt it after that).
Kendo performance by 4 jap students.
Kendo is like a martial art, they wear head gear similar to that of fencing's, protective shields om their torsos, use bamboo like sticks as weapons. Quite cool, not something that i get to see usually.
Took many many photos (sometimes multiple at a go) to make sure that i can get good shots of those powerful movements & fast action.
Tour around sch (canteen, library.... where else?)
Played badminton in the hall
Dun understand why TC i/cs of this event dont recruit sch badminton players to spar with them? Those Japs are pro players who'd won competitions.
Found out from a Chinese student studying in that sch. When he came forward to ask me something, i was like 'Oh no! What if i dun understand his Jap?' (cos my Jap's quite shaky) Then i realised he wasnt speaking Jap, he said '你会说中国话吗?' I was like yeah 会啊.. ( a little laggy response cos i arent used to the reference of 华语 as 中国话 and totally didnt expect a 'japanese' to speak mandarin) He asked me whether the teejay girls who were going to play were pros, i replied dunno cos i dun think they're sch team players. Puzzled as to why he knows Mandarin, i eventually found out that he's from China (Beijing) & went to japan to study japanese, but he doesnt know english. He was kinda surprised to find out from me that all lessons were carried out in English here. Hmm so those Jap students dun understand the TC skits & introduction video.. (all done in english)
There's also comunication probs b/n teejay guides & jap students as few of them know adequate jap to hold decent conversations in jap.
But since i was there to shoot pics & not chitchat, i didnt chat with him for long... Really regretted afterwards (not cos he's v gd looking)... i wanted to know what they studied at industrial sch and where else will they visit in Singapore. Wasted opportunity!!!

Saw 2 Daren Tan, the Project Superstar 2 winner lookalikes ---- think the younger, better looking versions of Daren with sharper Jap facial features & sporting similar hairstyles

1 guy who put big shades on top of his head, but somehow it looked like a hairband on him la, had an anime character like hairstyle, ate & sat so demurely (crosslegged- the girly style & put food slowly into his mouth) OMG i cant stand that sight, wanted to take photo but the 1st one didnt turn out well & i didnt dare to try anymore in case he notice me shooting him.
It's NEAR IMPOSSIBLE to shoot discretely using a bulky DSLR camera.
Thats why i dont have many clear pics of shuai-ges... surmore the cam's CF card not with me now, thats why this lengthy post is devoid of pics.
Later i saw that same sissy guy taking pics with a teejay girl, he playfully stuck out his tongue showing off a tongue piercing with a 'pop-out' XXXX -i've got no idea whats the tongue equaivalent of dangling earrings.
It's NEAR IMPOSSIBLE to shoot discretely using a bulky DSLR camera.
Thats why i dont have many clear pics of shuai-ges... surmore the cam's CF card not with me now, thats why this lengthy post is devoid of pics.
Later i saw that same sissy guy taking pics with a teejay girl, he playfully stuck out his tongue showing off a tongue piercing with a 'pop-out' XXXX -i've got no idea whats the tongue equaivalent of dangling earrings.

Maybe i've something against the sissy mentioned above or rather he's too outstanding, kept noticing him hanging around. A brief description of his hairstyle: Straight fringe that covers his eyebrows (think Rainie yang's fringe) and a layer of hair on top of his head was being 'pulled up' & 'fanned out' in at least 2/3 directions. So no matter u see his front view, side view or back view.... U cant possibly miss him.
He carried a mini backpack (the design is so feminine that i dun think it suits me) so imagine my shock when i saw it.
But a bigger shock awaits me...

I saw a lady carrying a similar bag (just change the pink patterns on that bag to white) on my way home, so i snapped a pic of it, just in case my descriptions arent vivid enough to express my horror. *i almost puked okays*
But the gender ratio of the students is like 150:10.. though i doubt i'd seen more than 8 girls. Very SKEWED. So chances are.. thats his bag.
It's almost like an all-boys sch i suppose, girls' presence is so scarce that the boys turn sissy to attract attention???
Under the mango tree:
3 of them asked a teejay guide thru a translator if they could take the fallen mango & made a mad dash for it when she said ok, only to drop it when they realised it's kinda rotten since it fell from the tree to the ground.
Another 1 whipped out his hp & stood around the tree, initially i thought he was taking pics of the tree, then i realised he was actually following a mynah hopping around the tree. =.O He looked really disappointed when the bird flew away & tried in vain to lure it down with a mango. Woah! No mynahs in Japan??
Some first-times
-1st time see so many cute Jap guys flooding teejay, just makes teejay guys pale in comparison
-1st time go buffet, see trays of rice being emptied before the other dishes (2 out of 3 trays were scrapped clean by the time it was my turn --- almost forgot that guys regardless of nationalities, need to load up on carbos lol)
-1st time see queues in teejay male toilet. at audi blk toilet, the doors of both male & female toilets face each other... imagine my surprise while stepping out of the female toilet to see guys queuing till the door
How I WISH they're here on an exchange programme instead of some cultural exposure visit... teejay girls will then be excited for the next few weeks, but what a pity! They're only here for 1 morning, but it's enough to send the girls to cloud 9. I spotted groups & groups of girls stopping to see (sounds better than gawk) them even from 2nd & 3rd storey, standing so close to the railings... nvm the 'zhao geng' la, shuai-ges are more impt to them haha. 真是爱看帅哥不要命. Some huachi girls let out squeals of 'so shuai4' 'so shuai4' which i could hear from a distance away.
I spotted a photo soc junior looking at the japs thronging the corridors twice & the 2nd time i walk past him, he said '很好拍 hor?' Haha.. i just laughed heartily... What more can i say?

Videos of fahrenheit~
First one is a video of them learning dancing from a dance instructor and demostrating the steps to another member on a variety show.. So funny LOL.. Didnt know Arron can dance too haha and he changed the dance steps so much (sexaye dance to robo dance)
Second one is of them kissing each other.. Heheh Arron looks as though he enjoyed being kissed by Wu Chun, even closed his eyes.. Look like cute puppy in there. (^w^)

Lv yuan -CCC production
Watched it yesterday with Sam & Cindy... Sad to say that i found it the most boring among the 3 lv yuans that i'd watched. The SCRIPTS are draggy & boring. Wanted to doze off and i wanted to use a remote control to fast-forward the scenes. 2 TPJC guys who were sitting in the same row as us left during the interval as they couldnt stand the boredom. Hehe that bad yeah.
Another problematic thing is the lighting, esp during the beauty pageant scenes whereby the whole stage suddenly lit up, everyone's eyes cant take it la. I saw people covering their eyes & 'sssssssss' sounds were heard as our eyes were really uncomfortable at the sudden burst of LIGHT after hours of watching the show in the dark.
The background MUSIC's also funny. In 1 scene whereby a young girl discovered that she's adopted & felt really sad about it, they played 'feng' by Jay Chou. I heard 'Huhs?!?' around in the audi as the song was a lil inappropriate at that moment.
Before we went to lv yuan at 7, we went to Mambo megahouse function in the hall. But somehow the crowds wasnt there, maybe cos we were early? (arrived at almost 630 and was the 1st to sign in.. lolx) A rock band was playing (rehearsing perhaps?) with the lead singer going seriously OFFKEY, making me

Yippeeee! Changed my blogskin after such a long while, cos i like the contrast between black & white, 2 of my fav colours.
But my older posts didnt turn out that nice on the new blog template as the font and colour was chosen for display in the old blogskin. Shall change the colours

Wanted to upload some pics taken during chalet & also talk about the lv yuan performance which i watched just now. For those who had seen my msn nick, you know la... I find it boring & draggy. So disappointing! Wasted my time... just there to support my friends. It's not the acting that's bad, it's the SCRIPTS!!! Dont they have better scripts to begin with? Woots totally crashed the production.. Haiz..

Teejay's getting more and more dangerous
Last week a ceiling lamp in Lt1 fell off in the middle of maths lecture, luckily the alert lecturer saw it, so it didnt crash down onto anyone
This morning, a tree collapsed near the canteen and a direction sign in the corridor was hanging loosely, on the verge of falling off..
The area under the precariously hanging sign was cordoned off and they tried securing it with a twine... Oh yes, a twine, i arent sure how long the teeeny weeeny twine can tahan the weight.
