Eagled-eyed ME
Here's another backtracking one which i wrote after studying in National Library.. Ahah.. Interesting!
Irene & i stayed on in the National Lib after our club's calligraphy exhibition.
Empty seats.. esp those with tables are really scarce on a sunday aftn.
We're lucky to spot 2 empty chairs side by side, at a vacant table -the only occupants were a bag & a black paper bag placed on 2 chairs, so we assumed that the other 2 chairs arent taken.
After some time, the owner of the bag & paper bag came back, he sat opposite me & started to read H2 physics prelim paper answers. So from now on, i shall call him the physics guy.
I don't think he was in a mood to study that day.. sure he put his pencil case & calculator on the table, but he didnt touch them at all. When he left his seat, presumably for a refresher break, he came back with 3 graphic novels & finished reading every single one of them before returning to his physics.
After i returned from my refresher (toilet) break, i saw a guy at the seat previously occupied by the paper bag, before conscience got the better of the physics guy and he placed it on the floor.
1st thing i noticed about him: good looks.. lol duh!
2nd thing: an old, horrid looking bright yellow & green pencilcase with a cartoonish pic of the front view of a mouse on one side & the back view on the opposite side, stained with random, ugly blots of blue/black ink. That pencilcase would look cute on a pri sch girl when it was still new ages ago, but on a not-so-young jc boy? Hurhur..
3rd thing: he was doing maths & writing so furiously that the whole table shook. Initially i thought someone kept kicking the table, but before long i traced the epicentre of the 'earthquake' to the Maths guy (shall call him this from now on)
The physics guy's empty mineral waterbottle in front of me was moving too ---- to be exact, it's rotating along the circumference of the bottom of the waterbottle in a steady circular motion.. it looked as though i was watching a physics experiment in Science Centre. ^.^
I asked Irene about the shakings on our way home & she said the pro maths guy stress her by working so fast. Coincidentally, she was also practising maths (me too actually.. just that i chose to ignore that unbelievably pro maths guy). He merely scanned the question & began answering.. -like dont need use brainpower, use eyepower enough alrdy.. and he punched the buttons of the graphic calcuator with such familiarity that it made his GC look like his alternative mobile phone keypad. Well.. the maths guy gave a new definition to the term 'chionging maths' LITERALLY.. chiong1 and pia3 like there's no tomorrow arh!
Another thing i noticed, perhaps it was due to the maths guy's extraordinary speed in solving maths, he cant seem to be able to write between the lines of his foolscap. I wondered why he bothered to use a foolscap without the intention of following the lines. (@.-)
When he took out a *gasps* CD walkman aka discman, took out a CD from his CD album (so maybe he lugged at least 5 CDs with him) and replaced the CD. Wow! Which teenager still uses the discman these days?? So i stared at the alien on the table for awhile, saw a prominent red sticker with the words 'DRUG ALLERGY' printed in bold (like those they stick on patients' cards in polyclinics & hopsitals) pasted on the discman. (-_-''')
I could hear the music he was blasting faintly, but i cant tell what music was that. It sounded kinda classical, but i would call it 'bombastic instrumental music' Haha.. cos no vocals & lyrics, just instruments.
The physics guy soon after reading 3 graphic novels & stoning in front of his physics paper.
Irene & i left at 5pm, leaving the maths guy all alone ---to rock the table with all his might.

Last day that i donned my uniform..
Went back school today to receive testimonial and student profile, the testimonial really look darn nice loh~ so nice.. it's making me xin1 xu1.. haha cos i aren't that good as the statements painted me to be.
During one of my first and last consultation with GP tutor before exams, my GP tutor said that i was like non-existent in class.. agreed haha cos i am either sleeping/daydreaming/chatting in class, just that when it comes to exams i can perform.
Then this is what came out in my testimonial:
Somehow the subject GP is singled out to talk about in there (guess that's cos there's nth else to say about my other subjects cos they sux)
'followed class discussions closely & made insightful observations'
Well.. hmm.. did i?

Woah~ this is amazing man! Before A levels, i was like asking my GP tutor basic Qs that i ought to have known more than a year ago =x i wonder how i manage to survive the past GP exams without knowing the essential stuff. Hmm.. i think i smoked my way through.. Too much smoking is bad for health, so i decided to refrain from smoking during A levels.

After i went to Tampines Ind Stadium to play badminton with sihui, ziyun & zijun
Hadn't touched a badminton racquet for ages, my racquets are getting rusty & dusty..
Luckily the rest of them didnt play for quite awhile too, so all our skills are rusty. Yeah let's rust together!
Can tell from their expressions when they missed an easy/ a simple shot.. that i could have caught it if i moved faster by a second or swung the racquet an inch to the left/right kinda feelings induced facial expressions. Hehe..
Coincidentally saw the tee jay badminton team training there too, i'd seen primary and secondary sch teams train before, but never jc teams.. or maybe i hadn't been there often enough to make an accurate conclusion =D
A lil tired after 2hrs of play.. but it's still ok.. i aren't a couch potato.. my limbs are still in one piece ^.^
Cloud will probably miss the days of wearing school uniform to school~

Farewell Concert 2007
I remembered crashing 2006's farewell concert but there's not much feeling as i aren't the one graduating. So now.. I'm finally graduating.. Seems that time really flies.. But all that emotions was somehow overshadowed by the Mediacorp artistes visit.
Many J2s skipped farewell concert to follow them around~
While i entered the audi late as i was watching their arrival~
Had to sit on the stairs throughout the concert..
Mrs Tag was in charge of the presentation and true to her background as a maths tutor, the stuff presented was very much.. hmm.. maths influenced
Mathematical statistics in words
-Don't be afraid to make hypotheses
-Be aware of the critical regions
-Find your own direction vectors in life
and of course a whole lot more which i cant remember as i was too busy laughing at the creative and amusing statements...
Some outstanding J2s were mentioned in the powerpoint slides in riddle form.
The funniest being: 'W_ng N_n, the most self-driven student in TJ's 30 year history'
Lols.. laughter & rumblings erupted in the audi and Student B from my econs class who happened to sit near me, stood up & clapped.
Answer: If u don't already know, ask your friend next to u
Hahahaha.. So i guess everyone know this student from China who'd been haunting the tutors for 2 years after every lecture.
This riddle and answer session ended with this: not all students are mentioned because this is just a biased sample of all the students... drawing more laughter from the students

Were about to give out autographed postcards when the concert organisers told them we were behind schedule and they had to leave the audi..
Then came the rock band performance (i think they were the ones complaining, cos the moment they left, the curtains parted and they were there jamming.. so they were there waiting all along.. oops!) But many students 'dun give face' and walked out of the audi (even those sitting in front rows)
The male lead singer's gd looking with stylo hair, his voice is strong but too high pitched at times.. 3rd song: Female lead singer (chio bu) came onstage. Student B went 'This is the thing man! Shld've come on earlier.' After she spoke in a Paul Twohill type of lazy, muffled voice. He said 'What's this man?! Braces ah??'
Well.. well.. that's so him.. Enjoy talking to himself..

Another one's a zi pai using mirror's reflections, showing B holding a mobile phone standing with a row of guys. B started swearing WTF upon seeing the pic.. Continued swearing..
End of concert, his fren commented 'Hey nice shaved head!' he complainted loudly (as usual) to his frens 'That's a private photo, i take with my hp one, why show it to the whole school? blahblah'
Hmm the pics v clear when shown on the big screen.. His hp camera must be good..

I was too preoccupied with taking pictures that it didnt occur to me what they were doing at that point in time.. Haha.. It's only on the next day that Fiona told me the bus' door was faulty and they had to get out from the emergency exit. I remembered myself wondering why Jesseca needed Elvin's help to get out of the bus.. now i know~

After farewell concert, i walked briskly out of audi.. hoping to catch a glimpse of the stars before they leave. Took pics of elvin and joanne while they were on the bus. Joanne's v nice and posed twice for me.. that's right! haha cos she spotted me taking pics of her.
Then i saw elvin handing out an autographed card from the back seat window & there were many outstretched hands dangling in the air waiting for the next one. I thought: aye so many people, v hard to get one la.. nevertheless, i stretched out my left hand (holding my cam on my right)
After dangling my hand outside (looking stupid i guess) i saw a card coming out~ And somehow it seems to be within my reach & within that split second, i just grabbed it.. Wow! I can't believe my LUCK!!! Then as i withdrew my hand from the window ( i muttered thank you, but i reckon it was inaudible given the noisy environment) some people tried to pull/grab the card but since it was clear that i was the first to lay my hand on it, they gave up after awhile. It's really good to be tall (or at least taller than the rest of the girls) and be blessed with long arms^^ I could reach further out (i was standing at the side of the small crowd outside the window & yet i could grab the card (^.^V)
As i backed away from the small crowd (still demanding more autographed cards) Fiona asked me to get one for her. I was like.. hmm.. if i go grab another one (which i think i can) i will kenna scolding by the rest who had been waiting there for i-dunno-how-long-but-it's-certainly-kinda-long. I just made way for her to join the crowd. But i dun rmb seeing anymore of those exclusive cards coming out. He's too popular and his Star Awards cards ran out long time ago & he had to give out some of his own cards from his modelling days. haha.. In contrast with Jesseca.. Hmm i saw one of the Mediacorp minders holding a stack of Jesseca's cards in the bus (ooh.. STACK!) maybe she's isnt popular around my sch.
A girl asked Elvin for an autographed card on seeing him in the middle of the bus but he made a 'What can i do' gesture and mouthed the words 'no more' in mandarin. Undeterred, she passed him a postcard and he accepted readily even before she could say 'But.. hmm.. it's not yours' in an embarrassed manner.. haha (oh it was jesseca's unautographed postcard she just gotten from the abovementioned minder) He just signed it anyway.. Ooh.. How nice~ that's a good way to pacify his so many many many fans.

After posing for pictures, Joanne whipped out a camera and asked us to pose for her. Lol.. i was standing in the front row with Angelina~ Woots.. Yeah! i'm in her photo!
When they finally left tee jay, Pierre opened a window, stuck his head out of the bus, shouted 'Thank you TJC!' while waving to the large crowd as the bus moved out of the main gate. Woah! Brilliant photo opportunity! But my camera's not switched on.. haiz.. i just waved at him or rather at them, like what many of the students did.
On my way to the library cafe to meet FL, i realisde there's a cut on my left hand. Must have gotten that piece of skin scrapped off by an overzealous elvin fan. I must have been overwhelmed with excitement, joy & disbelief that i didn't feel the pain and see that my hand was bleeding =x

Back to reality.. Ouch! it hurts!
Yeah that was then.. That wound was hurting over a couple of days...
Now: i can still see a darkened patch on my left hand, since i kept washing hands day in day out (for hygiene reasons obviously) it took quite awhile to heal, much to my dismay..

Woolala~ Haha.. Stumbled upon this sorting test while blog surfing, just did a 'Which character are you in Harry Potter' test in Facebook, i did the test twice and was given the same result twice~ I'm Harry Potter! Lol..
Coincidentally i'm now reading the Half Blood Prince book (6th book in the series).. yeah a bit laggy right? I know.. I finished reading Deathly Hallows before A levels so i'm like catching up on the 6th book to complete the series.

Yesterday, after crashing TP, mosquito and i went shopping at Plaza Singapura..
Actually we didnt shop a lot, spent most of our time browsing magazines in Times, stood there till our legs grew tired.. Haha.. But save $ ma~
Saw some familiar faces in PS, really unexpected people.. Haha.. Spotted my neighbour there with his friends (the thing is, i live nowhere near Plaza Sing), tee jay's DM Mr T. (any tee jay cians who dunno who's he, can give yourself a slap..lols) and (my dear) Sze sze.
At 8pm when we wanted to have our dinner, we realised that there were queues outside almost every restaurant, be it Secret Recipe or Swensens. She wanted to eat at Ajisen Ramen, but the queues really long (U turn out of shop and into the walkway) so i suggested going Cafe Cartel. There was a girl standing outside Cartel & flipping thru the menu, we just went straight in as there wasnt any Q outside. Haha.. Lucky us! Cos shortly after we were seated, queues started forming outside, hehe..
Had some bread as i wasnt feeling hungry.. But ended up eating loads of bread, not because i'm kiasu (the bread there is free) but cos i dunno how to cut the bread. I wanted to cut 2 slices, but once the knife touches the freshly baked, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside bread, it 'dented' .. yeps so i cant possibly put that squashed loaf back into the basket.. Ended up taking all of what's left of the loaf.
That's me (who dunno?) eating Bitter Chocolate Fudge CakeCheat people money one loh.. cos the cake's nowhere bitter and it was in fact, super sweet =(
I was expecting a slightly bitter taste of dark choco fudge, but haiz.. next time better eat the cheesecake. Mosquito's oreo cheesecake's amazing! The cheesecake was coated with oreo bits and had a tinge of tangy lemon. Hoots.
There's a new shop or maybe it's just new to me cos i rarely visit Plaza Sing.. Made With Love, a shop selling scrapbooking materials with a small cafe inside. I saw the mirrors in the shop and *light bulb lit* TINK! i whipped out my camera and took this..But the shop that i wanna visit is Miss Whatever, a pink pink glittery shop which sells whole lot of pink stuff, but it was closed for the day as it was already 10pm.. Haiz we'd such a long dinner, ended up with little time to shop.
Must visit the shop next time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ooh my lovely pink stuff~
At Dhoby Ghaut Mrt station, *light bulb TINK!* again.. Haha.. We waited for the next southbound train and took this with the reflection. Hmm.. whatsup with me and reflections these days?

Heehee.. I'm now in TP's free access computer lab, one of the many many labs around here.. Lol.. The sign on the door says 'Free Acess Lab 45' and it isn't the end of the long corridor yet. Hoots.
Just crashed mosquito's psychology lecture, suaysuay this lecturer's different from the previous interesting lecturer that she mentioned.. Ahh.. She chose to speak to the students without mike, but her loud, booming voice just make her sound as though she's shouting at us =x
She's has got small, cursive handwriting and many people couldn't comprehend her writings on the OHP, but no one said anything leh.. Dunno why~
The lecture theatre's quite small.. haha compared to tee jay's.. Oh man it was packed to the brim cos many people chose to attend this lecture instead of another one in the evening at 6pm. Haha.. Some sat on the staircases..
First time attending a lecture in polytechnic.. Feels different.. Hehe cos every student is in their own clothes & some adventurous ones treat lectures like fashion shows. Noticed a girl with hot pink streaks in her hair, a guy with bleached brown hair (and he wore a bright yellow tshirt.. looking like a LEMON =p) and a couple of guys who spot Rainie Yang's old hairstyle: straight thick fringe which covered their entire foreheads.
Helped mosquito to copy notes aka fill in the blanks kinda thing and fill in the mind map which vaguely resembles those in my GP package notes. Haha.. She's got a free scribe for the day~
The lec's on social behaviour.. Sian lah all common sense de.. Haha i think introduction to psychology itself is pretty common sense thats based on logical thinking.
Now, she's off to attend tutorials (i can't crash) so i played games on her white PSP and do some surfing on the computer.
Shall end of here.. As the keyboard of this comp is so lousy, with hard keys that make it hard to type quickly and produces an excessive amount of noise.

Backtracking post.. on the forgotten 'episodes' of Econs tutorials..
There'll be one longgggg one coming up on the last tutorial of the year and possibly the last econs tutorial in my whole life. Lol
Just some 落网镜头 for me to reminisce about those funny times..
Tutor wanted to go through a Case study Qn worksheet he gave out during the previous lesson:
Student C: 'Cher i left my worksheet in the library, can i go take now?
(apparently he left his bag in the lib & i suppose he was there studying earlier on)
Tutor: Ok
Student C (came back after a long while): 'Cher, i realised i forgot to bring the worksheet *grins*
Tutor: Nice trip back to the library, can enjoy the air con (sarcastic tone -hehe.. cos the air con in our classroom is much better & it's way cooler here than in the lib)

Initially we all thought that she's putting on nail polish while waiting for lesson to start, but i guess she dont look like the super 'hiao' aka vain type, so i peered at the bottle... Haha it's the first time that i've seen this =p
Hmm i was wondering how it works... UNTIL..
Student D came over to kaypoh..
and coated one of his nails with the nail bite lotion.
Then he touched his lip with that nail, with a slightly repulsed look (i reckon his head jerked backwards by an inch) he said ''Cher, i go toilet.'
HAhahaHAha.. We were amused by his reaction =D
Anyone of u who intends to kick the bad habit of biting nails.. DO try it~ It's effective (i'd watched that guinea pig with my own eyes lol)

TANG YUZHE'S AUTOGRAPH SESSION AT SUNTEC CITY~
Since my A levels are over, i was chatting with yuwen aka mosquito on msn... Decided to go watch Tang Yuzhe, instead of Fish Leong (they were holding autograph sessions coincidentally at the same time but diff place) My reason? So simple... Don't need me to spell out ba? Lol
Yuwen's sister & her fren went at noon though the event's at 4pm.. Hehe.. Yw and i reached at 3+pm cos it was pretty last min kinda thing so we cant possibly be that early.. But to my surprise, they didnt join the queue cos they haven't decided whether to buy the album or not. *faints* So we didnt Q too, stood at the side to await the performance.Heehee that's how i got these photos~ Lalala~
He was 40min late cos he was doing some interview b4 that.. Sians.. It was sweltering hot as there wasnt any shelter at the side of the stage.. He wasn't feeling well but still managed to sing 3 songs. I videoed the chorus of the song 爱我 only to realise afterwards that my digicam's movie recording has got no sound recording.. Darn.. I need a better digicam & not to forget a mobile phone too! I need $$$. Okays.. Gotta get a job soon, like what Feng lin said, u know when to find a job --when u run out of money *sobs*Yes 933 DJ Liyi's the emcee~
Woa~ Loads of people.. But of course, if u were to compare with the turnout of fans with those of Energy (that was then.. i arent sure abt now cos i wasnt there) and Fahrenheit (rmb i was crazy enough to queue for 8h, of which 6h was spent standing?) it wasnt that much.. So i thot he should be able to finish signing all.Yuwei and i bought the album and wanted to join the Q after watching his performance, while Yuwen and her sister's fren Yiyee waited for us. The crowd control & security was so lax~ It was good cos we could cut Q... We followed some people and joined the first section of fans in the tent (there were 3 sections in all) Ya ya.. I know i'm a notti ger..
We were all packed like sardines & were constantly pushed around (having backache now) I'm usually as stable as a sculpture in a crowd, but then there were 2 fat girls who bumped into me.. Kenna squashed by them.. Eventually i managed to squeeze ahead of them (and phew! get as far as possible from them) if not i will get a free slimming session. Thank goodness i'm taller than average girls and there arent many guys around, if not i can't find fresh air. Huff puff puff.
Maybe it's because of the packed conditions, or maybe the fans aren't that crazy over him or something, somehow i feel that they weren't that excited or enthusiastic. The screamings and chantings were kinda feeble.Nevertheless, there were some interactions with the crowd...
Fans: 我最爱还是你! (using the title of his first track 最爱还是你)
Yuzhe's immediately replied by picking up the mike beside him: 我也是!
Wahaha.. i think the fans will be on cloud9 for the whole day
Fans: 我们还要去普威! (they wanted him to sign faster as they needed time to travel to Caldecott Hill to support him on the show)
Yuzhe's immediate reply: 好啊, 一起去!

After a 2hr long slimming session, i was finally up on stage, with messy hair and all. Yeah so unglam right? =xI was there a couple of sec longer as his minder thought he haven't written my name on my CD and pushed my phone towards him (i typed my chi name in my phone as i dun have a pen on me) when he had already written. i pointed & told her 写了then Tang Yuzhe also told her sth like 写了/签了, i took my hp and there came the handshake~ He shook with 2 hands (how sincere) but i think i gave a feeble shake cos kenna squeezed in the crowd until want to die liao, where got so much strength left? Hehe.. He said 谢谢!, i replied 谢谢on instinct hehe as i didnt prepare to say anything to him. When i took my CD from the table, he looked and smiled at me again before i left. Nice-nice!
I waited for quite awhile for Yuwei after getting my autograph, cos even though we joined the Q together, pint-sized wei got squashed by other fans and wasnt able to move as fast as i was. Lost sight of her somewhere somehow~
She said later that she didnt look straight into his eye.. *faints* Oh man! What a waste!
Yuzhe aka Danson's really NICE oh.. first time hear the emcee encouraging fans to write down their names on paper b4 gg onstage, usually they try to speed up the process by saying No..... No..... No...... Whatever.
Plus he put down his pen each time to shake with both hands (too bad i was holding his poster on one hand, if not i would've shook with both hands -more shuang3 leh)
Hehe that's why the Q moved slowly.. *Tiny snail crawling past*
We dined at a restaurant near the Fountain of Wealth, when we came out at 730pm, the autograph session's venue's almost empty.. Hmm i guess he didnt manage to sign all as we took 2h to navigate through the tent, when we left it was already 650pm and there were still some people streaming out of the tent.
Luckily i didnt join the end of the Q~ Keke..

My A Levels ended officially when the clock strikes 330pm yesterday afternoon~
lalala~ I know most people's exams end next week cos of Physics Bio Elit Computing Art papers.. Yeah and they are pretty pissed that i get to enjoy the weekend... *pretending not to hear their complaints & see their darkened faces when i say chem's my last paper*

Hope that i can get A or B for General Paper cos it's my best subject, if i dont get my A from there, there isnt much hope for the rest of my subjects. Maybe for Economics? Hmm... But after crapping through a difficult 13m essay & giving relatively short answers for 6-8m data response questions due to time constraints & level of difficulty.. maybe not.
Maths papers -for those who know me.. u know la.. i didn't pass a single maths exam ever since stepping into JC
I think Paper 1's difficult, paper 2's better but it should be easy for the rest as most completed the paper ahead of time, a self-declared average student said he had 55min left. Woa~
Q1 of paper 2's so easy, it's a givaway Qn, but stupid idiot me forgot how to do.. Matrices.. Argh! *Puke blood*Faints*
Chi Lit papers
I thought it was ok... yeah or so i THOUGHT...
Until...
When the chief examiner asked those students who used more than 1 booklet to raise their hands cos they need to distribute strings to tie them together.. Wahhhh almost everyone in front and around me raised their hands *Faints*
I only used 1 answering booklet, wrote a total of 16pg (not full pages) leaving 2pgs empty. Hmph.. I dun seem to be able to write that lot, though teacher encouraged or rather say it's a MUST to write more. But where to find time? 3hrs to write 20 over pages of chi lit essays.. Barely enough leh..
As for Econs, aha.. this time i really studied (cos i didnt study much for prelims.. so my econs prelims was effectively screwed with a reason)
This time i thought i must score..
In the end i crapped through a tough essay Qn (dont really know what they are asking and how to answer -initially i thot it's a Qn on Protectionism but after repeated readings, i figured out that it's on Monopoly.. Wahh so ambiguous! Spent time doing 2 drafts for 1 essay. Some of my friends wrote the essay as though it's asking abt Protectionism, which is a whole lot easier to write on, but i reckon it's not correct) Whatever it is... i know i'm sending 13m down the drain.
Chemistry Paper 3 was a disaster.. i was so frustrated that i wrote all that down on paper, shall reproduce it here when i have the time..
As for paper 1 i thought it was ok.. Then again.. it's I THINK so only la.
Cos many people said it's DaRn difficult, so i changed my stance.. Hehe.. Yeah it's difficult!
