Was at CCS camp last weekend
just in case nobody knows what it is, it stands for Chinese Calligraphy Society... lols
played games organised by juniors as well as captain's ball... woah! i hadnt touched captain's ball this year, luckily my skills arent that rusty.
yt's v funny, cuz her hand's are like 'oily' such that she cant seem to be able to catch & hold on the ball properly. once i passed a ball to her & she spinned one round b4 finally catching hold of the ball. Everyone present burst into laughter, inviting more suan-ing from wj & ri.
BBQ was okay...the food wasnt alot, so no wastage. The most special thing was ri putting a big pot over the wire gauze at the bbq pit to cook macoroni (dunno how to spell) ... woah! new cool method of cooking -treating bbq pit like a gas stove...haha patent pending.
2nd day, it feels weird to be gg2 sch on sunday.
just plain weird
the school cmpd's so quiet
it's a rare sight...as if i own the place... haha...actually it's true we were the only people in sch on that day.
interviews & hustings for the election of the new exco: it's the last time to act seh and interview or interrogate juniors like this.. lol... we were just short of a bright table lamp.
wj was energetic & full of anticipation when he talked abt how he would ask them curt Qs... *flashing evil grins*. ri asked whole lot of Qs. bin & yt was comparatively 'tame'... i think i was okay, being very seh throughout, but sitting there for hours firing Qs and listening out for ans can be tiring. Now i finally understand why oral examiners always looked bored & totally siAnzed.

Backtracking a little to sports carnival last week
Last thursday, I went inline skating together with JJ - jas & jia. Since this was the 2nd time i was wearing skates, i joined the beginners group. I was quite amazed with myself as i could balance well on skates, so i believed this encounter with skates will certainly not be as diasterous as the previous one last year at ecp. I'd never realised the road outside the ground level classrooms was a slope until i put on skates. I began moving automatically towards the wall, fortunately i stopped & balanced myself in the nick of time to prevent myself from crashing down.
The amazing thing was.... some idiot put 2 left foot skates together & i wore 2 left foot skates for more than an hr! My right foot hurts... One guy's even pro-er, he wore 2 right skates, with sizes 38 & 43, i wondered how he skate in that.
My experience on thur was brilliant...as i could finally skate! yeah!
Bad thing was: tj sch gates were locked even after 12. So a dozen of cg24 peeps boarded the bus for supporters to watch the badminton match. Yeah right! Boarding the bus was the only way we could think of to get out of school... After we got down the bus, 4 of us 'sneaked away' & headed towards the mrt station instead of going into jurong east stadium. Whole lot of other tjcians did that too! it goes to show that we'll go to great miles just to get out of school.
After which jia & i headed to Bugis, Bras Basah complex to check out econs tbs. We also went to Suntec & Marina Square.. to check out myuk pencilcases at The Wallet Shop.. Argh! couldnt find the design that i'd my eyes on couple of weeks ago. I finally settled for a white myuk pencilcase.. same as jia.. the size's just right for my gc!
Last friday, went skating with eunice & jas. There was significantly lesser people skating. A lot of people pon the last day of sports carnival, considering the previous day's bad experience.
OMG! the wrist guards were wet, knee & elbow guards stink like hell... making us reek of the smell of stale sweat...argh! i prefered the new ones that we've gotten yesterday.
We skated for a while before heading to the toilet to wash our arms with soap.

stupid sports carnival, stupid rule to lock gates till 4pm, trapping students inside the sch cmpd for no apparent reasons as our sports games are usually in the morning.

Finally!
The last week of school!
But i dont really feel relaxed yet.. almost all my tutors are like rushing to book makeup tutorial slots with us. siAnzz. Everyday, go home late late.. 1st week of holidays are 泡汤了! Makeup lectures + chem tutorials.. siAnzz i think only pf'll be excited over maths lecs, just read her blog, she was lamenting why there are only 2 maths lecs per week (for the obvious reasons.. haha..i'm sure she's arent a fan of differentiation.. Lol. )
But at least there's something else like sports carnival & 2505's class birthday to look forward to this week. Life's isnt that boring anymore. Inline sk8ting! Here i come!

Reverie II: Dance production
Just came home at 1130pm from Kallang Theatre where dance concert was held. The bus stops outside KT were flooded and since it was late, we decided to take a cab back to pasir ris with cindy & sam. But that darn ulu road has no taxis in sight.. we spotted pekkie & mimi walking away from the bus stop and thought that they were walking to Kallang mrt station. We followed suit, but then we realised they went out of sight. Gasp! Sam called Pekkie to ask where they went only to find out that they just crossed the road & went to the opposite bus stop, just then, a cab turned out from indoor stadium & stopped in front of us. What luck!!! Yahoo!!!
Back to the concert: It was fabulous! I enjoyed watching dance performances whole lot more than musical performances. (no offence, just that a musically declined person like me cant really appreciate the beauty of music)
The music was a tad too loud though, my ears were buzzing.

Their costumes were fantastic! Elegant long flowy dresses for graceful dances. Cute purple tu-tu like skirt for dancing to the energetic beat of jolin's song. Almost everyone swarmed up the stage after the performance, giving flowers & exchanging hugs.. It was so flooded that the theatre officials starting shoo-ing people off the stage. Can the stage tahan the weight of all these people? Lol. But who cares? I went up to meet lx & wl anyway.
Thanks a lot for Steph to rush all the way there right aft her wushu training. I really missed u! Had a nice chat with her, but there's really a lot more to catch up...havent seen her for a year...ooh. Hope we'll meet up soon! Upon seeing Steph, it reminds me of how long i havent seen 2205 friends for a long long time...qinxin.doreen.qiheng.kangya..
To jas: i think u'll regret not gg for the concert.. Hahahahaha..

Was so embarrassed yesterday...
This is what happened: A friend of mine came over to sit with my friend and i during lunch as she was alone in the canteen. She started saying my gal friend hair's not nice and started playing with my watch. Just as we were about to leave, 2 of my friends came along... i was wondering how to signal to them not to sit at our table, apparently, they didnt notice that jia & i were seated far away from the table... clear indication that we wanted to escape form my friend!) She continued criticising my friends whom she only met for the 1st time... Ask one of them to go for facials, sayimg he looked as though he's 20+ and ask another whether a gas explosion had happened at his house, giving him that 'explosive' hairstyle. Woah! Couldnt take it man...
Not only that, she kept hitting my friend with my watch and urged him to eat faster...you should have seen the face of my friend who got harassed and 'molested'.. Lol.. In the end, he didnt manage to finish his meal & rushed to another table to finish his drink. They heaved a sign of relief, having escaped from the clutches of my friend. I rushed off too..saying it's time for us to attend lessons (like real)
So scary!!! I didnt know she could be that insensitive & irritating as i wasn't that close to her!
So sorry dear friends... Pls dont take all that criticism to heart...
From now on, I'm going to avoid her at all costs!
But i shant mention any names here..

Extended holiday!!!
Slacking mode: was out the whole day
went to temple (surprised 2 see cheetah there but dun think he saw me)
went to climb Bukit Timah Hill with family & aunt (surprised to meet leehui there, i didnt notice her as she was in e midst of rj pple until she called my name aloud )
then went to my cousin's house to celebrate my nephew's one month birthday
now back home: online
conclusion: nothing accomplished.. but equally tired... haha

Went to watch lu yuan on last sun. An annual chinese drama perforance by Chinese Cultural Club. Felt it was better than last year's as the backdrops are more impressive, a different one for each skit. The plays seemed to be separate entities with no solid themes, but it was interesting enough to sustain me for 2 hours.
I didnt quite understand the 3rd skit though, it was about 3 couples ( a shy young couple, cinderella and the prince and ah beng & ah lian ) the scenes jumped erratically from 1 couple's to another, so sometimes i dun quite catch what thet were trying to say. But i do like the 1st play, the cute Mickey Mouse that can 'move' and understands its owner's feelings. 2 guys in charge of mIckey's movements got to squat and move around the stage.. it must've been tough on them.
The 2nd play was about Ne zha. There was one point in the play which was meant to evoke feeling of sorrow, when the 4 words '忠孝仁义' 4 different words were supposed to detach from the bamboo poles hanging overhead and '飘' down to the stage. Unfortunately, the word '仁' stubbornly refused to drop down despite repeated attempts by the backstage crew to jerk the pole. The audience laughed at this sight, so a sad scene was immediately turned into a funny scene... The costumes for this play was funny, the guy who played 3rd prince of the Dragon King wore a chinese style suit that had the lower half of the front missing. Did they cut it deliberately or is it because he was oversized? Moreover, the lead character Ne zha wore 'modern' clothes like tshirt & bermudas. I dont think these clothes exist in that ancient era right?? Lol.
I snapped quite a few pictures of the drama. Anyway, it was my job (i've photo duty) so for those who went for the sunday's performance, whenever you see camera flashes, it was probably me snapping away.. Heehee

i survived one day at school batling flu & risking being caught for having painted nails. Hoo, i tried on the purple nail polish that i bought on sunday, the resulting effect's not too bad.
Yeah.. quite satisfied with this DIY nail job, cuz no $ to go nail salon for a manicure. heehee..

got cy a nice shoebag from the wallet shop & jo makeup & nail polish from sasa.
hope they like them
yeah..the pasta with afresdo sauce at pizza hut was great, shall try it out again.. the outlet at marina square's the most high-class pizza hut that i've seen...leather like tableclothes & nice lamps.. shall visit there again too.
