What happens when there's a bunch of jokers in your class

We were supposed to submit 2 econs essays to the tutor on thursday.
During the thur tutorial:
Students A, B, C:
Sorry 'cher i forgot to bring
Sorry 'cher i forgot, just found out 5 minutes ago when XX asked me whether i'd done the essays
i was absent, nobody tell me
Teacher:
Ok tomorrow morning 10 am put in my letterslot
Students (in unison):
Cannot!!! Tomorrow got Maths test, only Maths lecture test in this term, so results will be reflected in the March progress report.
Student A: If i get 0 marks, later principal want to see my mother.
Student B: Results will affect...blahblah... (dunno what he said because he talked too fast like machine gun fire so i didnt catch)... go NS join infantry, our future will be ruined...

Me: =.O

Teacher: Don't extrapolate so far. Then i give you all until Monday 10am ok?
Student C: Cher! Which monday arh?

Everyone: =.o... laughter...

Teacher: After you graduate then submit to me, and we can go drink coffee together.
Heheh my tutor's reaction to cheeky students was surely fast.

Of course, that isnt the end of story for that lesson

time to go through a worksheet
then tutor realised he didnt bring the worksheet & decided to go through lecture notes instead.

Student D: Hah??? I spent so much effort into doing this leh! (well well as if lolz)
Student C: I spent so much effort trying to keep my worksheet clean leh!!
Hurhur... So cold

While going through the notes, came across this term Pigou effect (read as 'pi-go'), but as Chinese, we naturally pronounce as 'pi-gou'. I couldnt resist laughing at the 'pi-coo' effect. Just sounds so funny to me~ ^^
The only non-Chinese in class: I'm lost!
Well... that's too bad haha..

Hmm little wonder why our econs tutorial progress is way behind schedule.
thanks to all those jokers... yeah also for jolting me awake with their either creative or cliche antics during the lesson

havent updated for a week or so...
have much to blog about...

Like the visit by local director Royston Tan to tee jay on wednesday.
Screened short films like Careless Whisperer, Cut & preview of his new film 881 (if i remember the title correctly)

In Careless Whisperer, it's about the guy nicknamed Careless Whisperer in Singapore Idol's auditons.. Oh ya btw, his name is Patrick, i think many cant remember his name, but can certainly recognise his face and from the way he sings. Ok hmm.. he dont sing, he whispers.. And people can hardly hear him sing, but he's determined to let the world hear him sing so he sings everywhere ( sing to strangers, sing in the bathroom...) and ask for comments.
Those scenes were funny^^
Eventually he managed to sing out loud (not exactly clear) but clearly he sounded much better as i can finally hear him.

Cut is about Singapore's Censorship board's cuts to films, some of which deemed unnecessary. The director said he needed to vent his frustrations due to 27 cuts made to his short film '15' by either producing a film or kill someone. So he made 'Cut'.
There's not much of a storyline, just an actor portraying a big fan of films complaining to another who's acted as a member of the Censorship board. The latter's tortured expressions while tolerating the film buff's barrage of comments & questions which dont require answers fired in a rapid relentless way is really funny! He questioned why there are XX number of cuts made in the film YYY and ZZ number of scenes being cut from the film AAA... and so on..and he carried on...and on... Looks like the director/scriptwriter did much research on the number of cuts made to films in the history of the censorship board.
Towards the end, that actor+other extras decked out in skimpy/outrageous costumes danced & sang somewhat in mockery of the censored scenes, as all the supposedly censored people from different films & scenes are coming together in one scene. Hehe

An interesting quote made by Royston during Q&A session when one girl asked him how he find ideas & decide which idea to use to make films. He replied ' I'm the Ah Beng type of person. So i do first, think later & regret forever.' Woah haha... nice one..

Annual road run 3.5km cum CNY celebrations today

I still find it weird, tee jay cians run to celebrate CNY???
Hmm listening to tong tong tong chiang songs while huffing & puffing and running back to the school...

Stood at the back of the crowd before the starting of the racel as it was too crowded in front. BAD MISTAKE. When the run started, it was very packed... I realised that i was doing a crab walk/jog zigzagging in the crowd, but in fact moving nowhere. So i got fed up & moved to outer lanes of the track, taking the longer route wastes energy, but all i want is to OVERTAKE those people who hog the inner lanes & yet are moving like snails. Kinda FRUSTRATED and yups certainly not a good start to the run.
Wasted so much of my energy jostling for precious SPACE along the pavements that i felt that my strength & stamina were draining away. As if i have a lot of them in the first place, i arent exactly a long distance runner. For 2.4 km napfa run, i usually run some distances then stop to walk walk (according to my friends that's what they call sprint, not run.. whichever la) and start jogging when i feel like it. Darn slacker me.. But this time it's 3.5 km, never in my life had i ran such a long distance before, somemore my name got put into the competitors team 4 of my house. Must run nah if not malu.. Hehe

BAD thing: stomach ache/cramp/pain in the middle of the run. Shhhheeeett! Forced myself to jog through the last stretch back to school, with a slightly hunched back i think. It hurts!

Finally managed to finish the run in one piece, inefficient student officials didnt give the certificate after i submitted my no. tag & position tag. Wait~~~ Didnt want to talk initially cuz energy level's pretty low then. Wait~~~ Cant wait any longer & asked the girl for my cert, she tried to get the attention of another girl with a stack of certs -but failed. =.o i snapped my fingers to catch that blur x3 girl's attention. Well it worked, if it didnt work, i think i might just snap at her. In bad mood la, tired+pain+super thirsty trying to get a drink ASAP.

Recovered after resting for awhile^^
Water is GREAT! haha

Sat in front of a gigantic speaker at the sports complex as there arent many seats around. So NOISY! so loud that i thought i might turn deaf soon. I asked Verena to help me lift the speaker & turn it in another direction. Wonderful! Then hui min asked 'How did yall manage to turn it off?' Lolx. We didnt turn it off, just shifted the direction in which the sound was being blasted.

Almost everyone popped party poppers provided in celebration of CNY, the whole place smelt of explosives huo3 yao4... Eeks! paper popped out clinging on to the hair & clothes.. yi1 pian4 lang2 ji2. OMG coloured remnants of the party poppers everywhere.. The sports complex looked like some disastrous aftermath of a mad & messy party.
Siamm before they want us to volunteer to clean up or something.
I know that's kinda bad.. but yeah everyone else's leaving too.

Just changed the background song of my blog
Had been listening to Perhaps Love from Goong for sometime.. hehe
Put 4 songs at 1 go... In different languages^^
2 in Japanese ( Sirius by John Hoon aka Kim Jeong Hoon aka Lv in goong^^, One by DBSG a Korean boyband that i like... )
1 in Korean ( Tri-angle by DBSG & BoA)
1 in Chinese ( My little princess by DBSG )
DBSG's mandarin's a little mangled sometimes, but at least i can tell they are singing in mandarin la.. haha. They are so talented, have the ability to sing in so many languages.

Recently, i'm very 哈日和哈韩.. Watched many Korean dramas & listened to Korean songs, hopefully can learn a little Korean so that i can make some sense out of the songs.

The cny goodies tasted yummy, though one is a little too salty for my liking.. that one should be baked by fiona herself, some was chaotah haha.. But it's ok, at least she knows how to bake them. I dun even know how to bake in the first place.
Ate too much sweet stuff... Got stomachache.. Brrr..

GO GREEN DAY 11feb

Sian-ed
collected old newspapers & clothes from 4 blocks in the Marine Parade area
But Bedok View & VJ already held their collection in those areas before us, beating us to much more recyclables which we would have collected from the residents.
Tiring~
Mosquito commented that it's a special way to commerate our school's 30 year anniversary.

There's a interesting house i spotted: Like an empty haunted house
The front metal gate had multiple rusty locks hanging alongside each other. A whole row of it... I didnt count how many, there's just too many locks on this unusual metal gate which ironically- wasnt locked properly. yi an pulled the gate and it opened a little... heheh i wont wanna touch it. Then yi an asked whether this was an empty house... hmm..
I walked to side of the house, the window panes along the corridor is caked with a layer of dust. Noticing that there's a window that either was spoilt or broken into. Curious me peeked in, all i see was a messy room with boxes and filled shelves. I noticed a cupboard's locked with a bicycle chain, weird... Should stay away from this weird house. It's either a house that' has been empty for ages or there's some mentally unsound person/people living inside.
That's why i didnt take any photos as evidence of my sighting here, i dun wanna see something that i didnt see with my naked eye in the photos taken. Ghostly?

This is the Go green day carnival ticket... It's a failure i guess. A check with my classmates, none are interested to go for the carnival... guess flea market doesnt sound too exciting. In the end, 4 of us went back, yi an & i for the food, yq & sky to record DV campus. Food's fried bee hoon packed in a box. Not too exciting either. I was supposed to meet 2 friends in school, but they came late... so i left early. Yawns~

PHOTO SOCIETY OUTING+DINNER

Went from Esplanade to River Hongbao (the english name of the place sounds really funny to me) on friday afternoon to take pictures, though i reckon there arent many picture-worthy scenery there haha. Was melting under the hot sun... -.-'''''''

Somehow we spent much time under the bridge with a steep slope, some of them were like monkeys climbling up & down like nobody's business. 2 'cool' guys with well-worn shoes even glided down the slope like some pro skiers skiing down the snowy slopes of some mountain in some corner of Northern hemisphere. It was a dangerous act, as tumbling down a high steep slope at a fast speed isnt a funny thing. The friction ruins soles of the shoes too, that's why the other guys didnt try i guess.

Standing at the foot of this slope reminded me of CG2406 PAE's outing whereby all the guys climbed up this slope & slided down together. A wonderful sight, people sliding down this gigantic slide but the slope was kinda dirty & left them with either blackened/whitened hot(due to friction) butts lol. *Reminiscing about the fun memorable times we had during 1st 3 mths*

Back to the present: The noise level was a little high & we attracted the curious stares of passers-by, mostly China tourists. I spotted somebody sleeping under the bridge near the slope, but he seemed oblivious to the noise they made.

DINNER AT BREEKS marina square!

yummy! YUMMY! haha
Shared 5 items with Mel to maximise our budget of 25 bucks per person heheh.. Love Mel!
As many of the club members were carrying DSLR cameras so they snapped photos of food. I reckon we look like a bunch of freakish people: 3 people pointing their big cameras from different angles to snap a shot of a dish... Taking multiple shots of the pouring of sauce on a steak. But who cares? haha that series of shots looked cool. I'd never tried anything like that.
At Breeks, the workers would say 'Hi! Welcome to Breeks!' when diners enter the restaurant and 'Thank you please come again' or something like that in unison at the cue of one of the waitresses. It's supposed to give customers a warm dining experience but the half-hearted monotonous voices of the workers seemed as though they were chanting. A total of 14 of us went in, they didnt say welcome to us... we took our time to walk through the door after dinner, they didnt thank us at all. Just because we made reservations, it doesnt mean we can be treated differently from the others. Not that i enjoy their chants though.

Here's some photos taken by me... using HP that's why it's so blur..

This is the Massive Attack ordered by 3 people. Super sweet! I tried a spoonful of it & sank the straw into the big bowl of ice cream at the recommendation of jess & sy and sucked, i tasted chocolate, milo & something else which tasted like vanilla/milk/cream. Awfully sweet!

Just in case u are still wondering, how big is the big bowl... here's the closeup.. See the layers of ice cream? haha

I still prefer Vanilla X (vanilla ice cream with a dash of esspresso & decorated with chocolate chips) Not too sweet, just nice..

The chocolate 'tower' was ordered by samuel haha when i went forward to take a pic of his dessert, he struck an act cute pose behind the ice cream haha didnt catch that shot..

When we got bored after eating, i continued finding things to take pic of... Made the straws 'pose' for me. Those empty cups were originally filled with iced hazelnut mocha with vanilla & lime mocktail (regretted not taking pics b4 drinking them) i prefer dense slightly bitter mocha better whereas mel preferred the sour refreshing lime mocktail. Guys sharing the same tables as us pouring water from different glasses into one & took snapshots of glass with water filled to or rather slightly above the brim. I waited for it to overflow, but it didnt... they're so skillful in pouring eh? no filter funnels needed.
Reached home at 11pm... Zzzzzzzzzzzz

I find that GP lessons are the most 'bloggable' of all... Funny things happen during GP...
Like the one during yesterday morning...

Darren bought guo tie (dumplings) to class, saying it's going to be his lunch, but he finished the whole box within minutes. Well he didnt finish it all by himself, some of us with itchy hands & mouths ate them too haha i'm one greedy piggy.. ate half a dumpling which tasted soggy though he said it was made that morning. The thing is the smell of the guo tie is really strong, once he opened the box, the whole air con classroom is filled with that funny smell. My gp tutor almost wanted to ask 'Who farted?' when we told him it was daren eating in class. =.o Haha.. Other tutors would have scolded him for it, but this rather too nice tutor didnt... So that's what happened next: TWK bought siew mai during the short break that the Mr tan gave us to make the double period lesson more tolerable & the result? Yet another strong smell. When Mr tan came in, he said something like 'Darren! stop eating your dumplings!' Then the 'innocent' darren waved the empty lunchbox & said 'look! i alrdy capped the box.' Then WK admitted it's him who's eating siew mai in class. Hmph.. What's with the guys that day?

Prank/Joke of the day
Hippo played a prank on mr tan, saying his underwear could be seen when he stretched his arm while writing on the whiteboard as his not-too-long-at-all polo tee was not tucked into his jeans. Mr tan immediately pulled the back of his polo tee down to cover in embarassment. Then hippo was amused by his successful prank. Tan even said Hippo managed to pull a good one on him. Haha..

Tada! Finally i uploaded the photos!
The 1st two photos that i'd taken while i was in the front of the autograph session signing area, took so many yet few turn out well as too many fans are crowding in front of fei lun hai members. Why those fans have such big bums & block my view of my idols? Hmph.. Wasted & missed so many 'classic' closeup shots.
Quite proud of myself that at least i managed to catch snapshots of Jiro waving & sticking his tongue out..^^ Kawaii ne!

The rest were taken after i got my autograph by cindy~
We were on level 3 as level 1 & 2 were very crowded... She used zoom so much such that the photos are kinda blur.
Whatever it is... fahrenheit aka feifei rocks! ^.^
I like today's date
07/02/2007
Let's be Americans for a day and write it as 02/07/2007 also very nice haha
that was random
