Last Sat 20 June, accompanied YW to Orchard after dance.. Oohs, btw she went for my dance class too^^ A lot of new people went for last sat's class, cos the chairperson told us to bring a friend along, dunno what's going to happen, we just followed instructions & tadah! The dance studio's crowded.. Hehe..


Orchard's 1st stop: Paragon.. Kicks off the luxury brand trail with Ralph Lauren.. Fitting room's so big, like a hotel bathroom minus bathroom facilities, plus a big big mirror. Next stops were Burberry, COACH, Kate Spade (i cant rmb the sequence, i just know that whichover shops YW go to, she'll show interest in some 菜篮bag. Lols.. As in the bag will look like a 菜篮 (veggie basket) when one puts things into the bag cos of it's shape.

I arent a fan of luxury brands~
i usually just walk past their stores, never had the intention to step in, at most just throw a glance at whats on display in their giant store window showcase, though most of the time i would be checking out my own reflections in the glass window panels.
Those who know me will know that i like to see my own reflections, be it against mirrors (duh!?), or tinted windows... very much prefer the noticeboards w plastic cover panels in my JC.. And the vending machines in my Univ.. I would walk past the noticeboards or vending machines, look into it as if i'm reading or checking out what's on sale =p Subtlety..

Walked quite alot that day neh~ Paragon-Ngee Ann City-Heeren then back to Ngee Ann City again to help Samarx buy her Liang Wenyin book, continued walking to Centrepoint where i bought Marks & Spencer's delicious dark choco biscuits... Before reaching Plaza Sing~

Surprise of the day:
1) Saw one copy of one of KAT-TUN's older album taiwan's edition (i've never seen a tw-press CD of KAT-TUN in Spore before.. taiwan version CD album cost ard $20+ to $30, while japanese version CD album cost anywhere between $40+ to $70+)
So imagine my delight when i saw the one & only copy~ Excited sia!! Buy or don't buy??? *Thinks*
Didn't have to think for long actually. Faster buy before it disappears & i'll have to live with the regret.. Bleahs..
Used my bday present HMV vouchers to buy the album, so technically, thats my birthday present!!^^ Hohoh~

2) Saw Valerie whom i hadnt seen for a year.. Hmm actually, it's Val who saw me, i was busy sms-ing then she waved (while standing right in front of me) to catch my attention.. She looks fashionably hip in her hip hop gear^^

I like the surprises, only sad thing was, i couldnt lay my hands on the only thing that i'd in mind to buy that day -- Tohoshinki's latest single Share The World.. HMV staff said it was out of stock & new stock arrival's not confirmed =x
WHY so fast out of stock &^#%* ??!?!??!?! (on the other hand, i should be happy that Tohoshinki's so popular in Singapore cos singles dun usually sell that well, $16-$20 for a maximum of like only 3 songs?)

And i always ended up buying other stuff.. Hehe, whenever i go out, i'll spend some $.. Sometimes it's $$$.. Hehe..
Cos when i SEE, i LIKE, i THINK a lil, and i will BUY..

Day of 2 outings~

Noon: With Jul & Mich at Bugis
Evening/Night: Belated birthday dinner for June with Cindy, XZ, Samarx at Marina Square

1st thing we did was to go Kino at Bugis Junc, Mich wanted to buy the whole set of Twilight since more than a month ago (now it's on 20% discount --few sets left, faster buy!).. As for me, i bought a Korean mag Junior with FT Island on the cover.. Random buy~
FT Island's like a pop rock band made up of high sch boys (all of them younger than me =8 DARN!) They actually looked like Japanese boyband members initially.. Hehe.. Don't be mistaken, i like them cos i love their songs, not cos of their looks.. I still dunno who's who in the band.. Until i flipped through the magazine, began to recognise the members^^
Love the vocalist's husky voice, he turned out to be a pretty prettyboy.. Oohs.. Face dun match voice neh~

[edit: found out that FT Island's in Singapore on 27 June for a showcase at Dragonfly at St James from Straits Times Life 'Events' listing.... Wonder if they've other performances or interviews... Would love to see their interviews in local papers/magazines]

We also went to Illuma.. Some shops are still under renovations..

Far East Plaza outing with YW & XZ!~


Met up with YW at Tamp at 1+pm.. Wanted to find Kelly Serv but i guessed it had moved out of it's original place.. Spent sometime walking around to find it =x
Then as i couldn't stand YW's constant *ouch and ouch-ings* over her arm injury sustained from a cycling trip the day before, i urged her to buy some medication to apply on it. Seeing how she applied the yellow lotion (forgot what the name of it), it's hard to believe she was a qualified first aider.. Oh man... How can that be? She didnt even clean the wound properly *haiz* Cos she's scared of pain. But the injury isn't that serious la girl, remember to put lotion on it regularly & it should heal well, cos it's not an open wound or something. No bleeding, no fractures or dislocations.. You're lucky.. Unlike the local DJ-tv host Zhou Chong Qing (english name shld be Dennis Chew? me cant rmb) his fall from the bicycle was super serious la omg! when i first saw the picture published in the newspaper, i was like 'HUH! What did he do to sustain such a serious injury?!' That swollen face, bruised arms & bandaged leg.. It sure looks like he survived a traffic accident.



Stupid Luggage man ---gave a nickname to this irritating & inconsiderate man with a luggage in tow.

We were in CityHall mrt station, standing a short dist away from the doors while waiting for the train to arrive, this man just 'shii-eww' past YW to stand right in front of the glass panel doors, almost hitting her, giving us a shock. He suddenly appeared & moved as if the whole mrt station is his =x

He alighted at Orchard station too, just as we were heading towards the escalator, that stupid luggage man 'shii-eww' overtook+cut queue & rushed to step onto the escalator. This time, his luggage he was towing behind his back almost hit me, save for my quick reflexes, i lifted up my right leg just as he popped out in front of me... He didnt seem to care for the fact that his big luggage is blocking people's way & it is highly dangerous for him to navigate through the crowds so quickly while towing his luggage gawd! The luggage is like a crazy bulldozer under the mad owner's control~

Saw that man again at Orchard underpass, he was several escalator steps in front of us.. Needless to say, he overtook people recklessly AGAIN. Blardy idiot!!!

This time, we openly expressed our disgust on seeing this man's inconsiderate behaviour by talking loudly about it. I supposed he heard it & was looking at us while going up the escalator. We ignored his stares anyway, he's the one at fault yet he didnt seem apologetic.. i felt a strong urge to kick the luggage man! Almost bulldozed my leg, but he was several escalator steps away, with some people in between. Okies, the luggage is innocent la, it's just cursed to have such a scumbag for a owner.

YW and i shopped for a couple of hrs before XZ arrived after work..

'Woody' YW when taking pics~ She didnt send me her indiv photo, so no evidence to showcase here, hehe.. As i was ready to click the shutter button, i told her 'Hey, are u going to change your pose, do something leh, u look very 呆like this lorh..' Moments later, she's still standing in the same woody manner, so i clicked & took a picture. YW saw and said 'Hey, i look so 呆..'

As YW & XZ aren't good at changing poses or whatsoever (their idea of changing poses for taking another photo involves switching their standing positions), so it's up to me to do some variations^^

I was actually doing a V sign, but somehow it got blocked by YW's head, so it looks as though i'm hitting her head or sth, anyway she looks happy to be hit =p



Dinner was at KFC.. YW & I wanted to eat wanton mee (famous chain store) at Far East Plaza, but XZ had noodles for lunch so we switched to eating at KFC. Hah.. I like fried chicken!~ Though it's so unhealthy.. I've eaten Mac on Sunday, had 2 KFC meals in this month.. Woahs.. Break record liao~~ Hehehehe.. I haven't eaten so much fast food in months!!!! Hey! Thats rare for a youngster/teenager/student as young people usually frequent fast food joints.

From both sides shoulder length to one side bob hairstyle.. Hehe.. I didnt notice until i saw the photos.. My hair looks shorter than it is neh~



I love my hot pink tunic tee & grey hoodie vest both from Uniqlo! Hehe, i feel like a brand ambassador that day.. Though i doubt people can tell, cos Uniqlo clothing doesn't scream 'Uniqlo' out loud with the brand name spelt/printed across its tees..

Teejay photo soc alumni camp @ NTU

Most of my 13-14 June weekend was spent at NTU for the camp, it's been so long since i've seen them so i thought i should go. Went home after dance on sat, packed my bag & headed to the West.. It took me 2h to travel to ntu.. No joke sia, so farrrr...

The number of people who turned up was surprisingly little, i know several of them left after the photography outing trip to Bukit Timah earlier in the day.. But still, 8's a meagre number of people attending a camp.
Nevertheless, i'd fun at the games.. Hehe.. It's been a year since i last attended a stay-over camp. Candle game (each player carries a candle, attempts to blow other team players' candles while his/her own candle is still lit... ultimate aim's to cross over to the other side & use the candle flame to burn the twine. the first team that succeeds wins) I forgot + didnt know that was a photography society 'tradition'... Every photog camp won't be complete w/o this game. Lol..


After games, it's shower time.. When we made our way back to our 'campsite' ---an empty tutorial room, it was past 1130pm, so some corridors were pitch-black.. It's weird that the faculty didnt lock up all the tutorial rooms at night & on weekends, they only locked half of the rooms... (weirdness~) Okies, i shant reveal more, it regards the security issues of the school..

Night time spent watching the movie Bolt (cute cute doggy!) while munching on Ruffles chips^^
I didnt bring any sleeping bag & i didnt want to sleep on the floor..

Something that i'm pretty good at..

LOL..

I put 4 chairs in the tutorial room together.. Tadah! Thats my bed for the night! Hehe.. SN looked at me intently as i arranged the seats, she wanted to know what i was up to =p
The end product didnt look comfortable, cos each of the seats come with an attached small table, so to sleep on my 'bed', need to squeeze under the table(s).
But i swear my creation's actually quite comfortable, cos i put 2 chairs in the middle, so i can shift/move my legs/body around while i'm sleeping. There's more room for a relatively slim person than it appears to be..

Aiya, hard to describe, i should have taken a picture of it. Boohoo i forgot..
It's much much better compared to sleeping on the cold hard floor but everyone else except XM & i slept on the floor.

Slept for around 2h, got rudely awakened by itchy mosquito bites =x
Cos the air con system was switched off, we opened the window to bring in fresh air (as well as irritating mozzies) super itchy feet, i twisted & turned about.... Ahhhhh hard to sleep.. Then i saw something black flying around in front of my face, i just clapped my hands together... I'm so surprised to see blood on my hands.. Woah... Since when i'm such a good mozzy catcher?!

When i came back from the toilet after washing my hands, i noticed XM's also sleepless due to mozzies, so we went to an adjacent room to play cards. But 2 person play cards, not fun leh..

So we borrowed JT's laptop & to watch movies^^
Watched Valkyrie... A Tom Cruise movie set in Germany, during Adolf Hitler times... Colonels/High officials plan to overthrow him.. A lot of talking.. Sleep-inducing i guess.. XM fell asleep after 1h & i still don't have much clue as to where the plot's heading to. So i switched to watching Wolverine^^

Hugh Jackman!!!! 100 times hotter than Tom Cruise.. Lols..
It's the 1st time i'm watching an uncompleted version of a movie (supposedly leaked by someone in the production team?? before the official release) many special effects hadnt been added in yet, so i can see grey bodies, badly superimposed images blahblah..

But still, it's nice.. & I love Daniel Henney as Agent Zero~ That mixed-lookin guy from Korean drama My Lovely Samsoon.. His bad guy character lasted around half the movie, not bad leh.. Considering the limited screentime Asian actors/actresses get in Hollywood films..

It's morning! It's amazing that i didnt feel sleepy though.. Maybe it's the Wolverine Effect ---excitement after watching the entertaining movie hehe..

More games like Captain Fruit? (dunno whats the exact name)
It's Captain's Ball, just that the ball's changed to fruits & co... We had an orange, capiscium, water filled balloons, dragonfruit.

The orange was fine, in effect, it's quite easy to throw around, just that it gets a lil gross with all that orange juice seeping out after the orange had taken a tumble or two.
Next, the capiscium (i realised i dunno how to spell this word.. is it correct/wrong?) which splited into smaller pieces each time it fell to the ground (cos of the many diff 'compartments' it'd in the vegetable) We would then pick up the bigger piece & continue with the game.
Water-filled balloons --we didnt get to play it actually, the 2 balloons burst when it touched the ground.
Dragonfruit.. The MOST GROSS of all~ It gets squashed, splited into mini pieces (sent flying all over)... Soon the dragonfruit became a mad tangle juicy mash+peeled skin dangling off the fruit.

After the Captain's Fruit game, we played Fuzzy Wuzzy. Players try to stuff as many marshmallows into their mouths w/o swallowing/biting/chewing. Then they've to say 'Fuzzy Wuzzy', the marshmallows that SY bought arent suited for the game (cos she didnt know what game is was hehe) --those mini marshmallows would be more fun.. But we played with those big white ones used for BBQ~ I managed to stuff in 4 marshmallows, quite good neh.. though by the 4th one, i couldn't open my mouth le.. So SU's declared the winner..

There's a Smash eggs game as a forfeit.. Some eggs are more 'cooked' than others, see who's the luckier one to pick a more 'cooked' one.. But one can't really tell from the looks of it.

Supposed to smash against the head, but it got changed to smash on the hand.. Eventually got egg remnants over my arm. It stinks!~

The game was water cup obstacle game, quite simple yeah~ I would prefer more obstacles to clear while being blindfolded. Hehe cos i played many of those similar games when i was in Sec sch~

After the games, it began to rain.. Yeah can help to wash away the egg remnants on the ground (the eggs were slowly being cooked on the ground just like scrambled eggs on a hot pan =p)

Badly in need of a shower cos i dun wanna stink all the way from Boon Lay to the East side.. Plus some fruit juice would've landed on my head from those squashed fruits while playing Captain's Fruit..
Tralala.. Almost everyone went for a shower before we went for a late lunch @ Mac, Subway
Thats the only place that's open on Sunday i guess, even 7-11 outlet was closed.. Lol.. Isn't 7-11 supposed to be open 24/7?!?

Some interesting 插曲on the previous day:

KL realised she misplaced her phone but she didnt want to go back to the toilet near our 'campsite' as it was a long walk.. It was on a Sat nite, the classrooms were empty, lest for a China guy (we arent sure where this 'suspicious character' came from, he was wearing pyjamas-like tshirt & boxers... we were surprised to see him.. the place isn't near hostels & even if it's so, why would people staying in hostel come to level 4 of another building for the toilet?)
KL didnt think the guy would go into the girls toilet, so she decided to retrieve her phone after our Candle game.
JT received missed calls & sms from KL's sister, asking whether her muddle headed sis is frantically looking for her hp or something. Cos someone already found her phone & rang her house no... When SY dialled KL's number.. A guy answered the call..
SY *shocks*
OMG! A guy picked up KL's phone which was left in the girls' toilet????!!!?!?!

KL quickly called her sis to assure her family that's she's alright, told her what happened... while we were in the lift. All of us could hear her sister's 'HUH!!!??!' from the other end of the line as KL told her about a guy answering the call. Lol..

Turned out to be the same China guy we saw previously, he was with a girl at the other side of the tutorial rooms on level 4. So we went 'ahhh, so it's the girl who found the phone *phews*
Wonder what were they doing? Hmm.. Dun ask me..

Other than this lost phone incident~~
It's good to catch up a lil & get to know what the other former club members are doing now.
SY's busy being a volunteer photographer at NDP.. SU & SN are a couple (i realised that only when i saw them holding hands on our train back to the East side.... alright, i'm slow..)
KL worked as a promoter ---all dressed up as a fairy in Vivocity previously.. Quoting her "I've never attracted so much attention in my whole life... People who walked past would stop & do a double -take" Hehe... Of course, fairies in a shopping mall isn't a common sight..


The photo soc camp ended, that also spells the end of Cloud's 3rd trip to NTU..
The school's freaking big + ulu..

Cloud has at least 3 or 4 more blog posts to create.. Sorry for not updating for the past week..
I'll be back when i've the time..
And when i arent distracted by other stuff online =p
