Went Tampines again yesterday, this time with Julie, Mich, Grace & Diana ^^
It's the first time that all of them are stepping into Tampines 1..
Hehe..
Tamp is like my territory ya.. Kept seeing people i know.. Saw Perry from my sec sch just as i was crossing the popular road linking TM and mrt station. Then saw Sinyee..
Leck saw me walking by the Tamp 1 contact lenses roadshow as she was working there.. Didnt see her sms until much later.. Hehe.. Paiseh..
We had lunch at KFC.. Hehehe.. Always eating fried chicken on our outings.. Either KFC or Popeye's Chicken..
Woots, i like fried chicken, when they're crispy & fresh, so i like to dine in rather than have takeaways~ Had cheese fries too.. But the standards had dropped ages ago.. I've been missing the older version of cheese fries since i dunno-when..
There isn't much to shop at Tamp 1 actually, i may appear big, but there's not much shopping places.. A lot of restaurants though.. But as a group of jobless students, it's budget budget neh!! No restaurant-dinings at the moment =x
I like
Yamakawa Supermarket^^ Selling Japanese food imports.. I bought a grape juice with jelly in a small metal bottle.. Cute purple bottle yeah! Next time i shall come back to try other flavours like peach.
J, M & I also bought bread from
Yamazaki ...... the entire name's very long can't remember.. Anyway, it's a bakery specialising in Japanese breads. Mich's excited to see Strawberrry Sandwich --she thought that only exists in anime.. Hehe.. Cloud's no anime fan so she doesnt know anuthing about it. She just find the strawberry's in the sandwich kawaii, but it's expensive $2.80 for a small sandwich neh =x if not i would wanna try it!
The Japanese seems to be a creative bunch of people, putting their interesting ideas into food development. I like the strawberry ice cream --not the usual type, but a strawberry emptied to stuff in vanilla ice cream & frozen together with the strawberry. When u eat it, it'll be a fusion between slightly sour strawberry juice & sweet ice cream. Awesomeness!!!!
And as if my fascination of Jap stuff isn't enough.. When we went
Uniqlo --touted as Japanese Giordano.. I can't help but buy a hoodie vest.. It's on discount! Yippee! I set my sights on that vest last thur when i was there with Clover & Sky, lucky i didnt buy it right away. Cos this week, the hoodie vests and jackets are priced $10 cheaper. Hehe.. I was tempted to buy the pink-purple hoodie jacket.. It seems pretty cosy! =D
There's an interesting store at level 4 or 5 (forgot) called
Xin tian di.. It has 3 LCD TV screens playing DBSK's T Concert 2008. Jul's the sharp-eyed one who spotted it first.. She shouted
DBSK!!!!!!!!!!!! Mich walked a distance away so she couldnt hear, so Jul went to pull her in.. Hehe.. While i was rooted to the floor, busy admiring the boys dancing on 3 TV screens. Bravo!
As to wheres the link between DBSK and the store.. Hmm.. I wonder, cos they arent selling korean or japanese stuff, neither are there music CDs or DVDs on sale. Just clothes & bags.. Nothing of interest to me... Hehe.. Just DBSK^^
There's another shop on the same level called
Young Generation, i like the umbrella in the metal bottle designs. So cute & convenient! No worries about having to find a plastic bag to put a wet umbrella, just put the umbrella back into the bottle and cap it. Tadah! It'll be done!
At promotional price of $10, i found it cheap and was interested to get a
baby pink umbrella, but the kawaii one i was interested in, there wasnt a new one available.. Bleahs.. =x
It would be great if they've a
yellow umbrella too~ I miss the bright yellow umbrella i used in my sec sch days.. But it's rare to see nice yellow umbrellas on sale these days.
This morning, i went for my dental appointment.. Ate economical rice takeaway --chilli brinjal & curry vegetable. My economical rice dishes choices' faves^^
I added kimchi (just bought from Seoul Market in Parkway Parade -a korean supermarket with lotsa korean food hehe what else?) to my rice & veg.
So it's
Kimchi + Chilli + Curry = My delicious Lunch!Heeee.. I'm subconsciously into hot food =p
But it's not as hot/spicy as it seems.. Cos i didnt even need to grab a sip of water throughout the meal.
Saw on MSN news that theres
Patient Zero in Singapore. Some SMU student sia.. Wah liao eh..
Thanks lots for bringing the H1N1 virus into our country.Highly educated youngster dunno it's not appropriate to visit US in this period?
Got brain one or not?
WTF..
Sure kenna scolded by people..
Last time the girl who brought Sars to Singapore didnt know it herself cos it's was the beginning of the worldwide outbreak, so she's innocent.. but this time? It's been in the news everyday for weeks.
So i wonder why this idiot want to go New York & come back now..
Student only what, got what big business to do? Don't go NY his/her company in NY will collapse meh? Haiz.. So suay.. Our country will be in many countries' news tonight.
Btw it's reported that this fella went to a Bedok/Tanah Merah clinic... Anyone of u happen to visit a clinic in that area recently? I hope not ok.. Which also means that this baka is a East-sider.. Haiz..
Lucky i went Parkway not Bedok today~
