I've been watching this j-drama for the past 2 days..
RESCUE~ Pride of Orange

It's really nice.. It's about a group of firefighters training to be part of an elite Rescue team called the Rangers.. They are distinguished by their bright orange uniforms..


There's many fire scenes which looked really real, the actors must have had a hard time filming those scenes.. It must be blazing fluming hot in there.. There's a different mission each week, training challenges and real-life dangerous missions when the training cadets are despatched when the Yokohama Fire Department lacked manpower.

The lead actors are Nakamura Yuichi (KAT-TUN), Masuda Takahisa (NEWS) & Yamamoto Yusuke.. You may think that i watched this show cos of those 2 guys from my fav jap boyband KAT-TUN & NEWS.. But no, they arent my fav band members.. I started watching it cos of Yamamoto Yusuke.. Love that guy from Hana-Kimi and Puzzle^^

He looked so kawaii in the those 2 dramas that i've watched (i havent finished watching those 2 dramas btw, hehe.. i'm slow when it comes to watching dramas on the computer --cos i dun have my own laptop ---need to share computer with my bro)

But Yamamoto looked different in Rescue, he's hot.. oohs... That surprised me a lil initially~ But one cant expect brave & tough firefighters to be super kawaii right? That just dun make sense.. Anyway, I like both cuteness & hotness.. Not the first time to be surprised by him --saw pictures of him showing off his toned body & solid abs in a past issue of Junon~ In this drama, there's more chances to admire that obviously, with him working out in the gym shirtless & stuff.. Just wondering why is he the only one who's shirtless in the gym? Hehe.. Perhaps the other 2 guys from KAT-TUN and NEWS are too skinny~ Nothing to show, so better dont show~ =p i wanna drool, not puke.. Lols..

Ooh lala, i am busy watching the drama now, no time to search for photos related with the drama.. Shall post some cute picture of Yamamoto first~~^^

This is a new photo i guess, it's part of a series of picture cards which comes together with Myojo May/June issue.. Wanna lay my hands on that issue..

Full of sweat, tears, blood & emotions.. Battling against time to save those stranded by putting their lives on the line..

Aww.. Very touching!!!~ A must-watch even for non jap dorama fans.. 'dorama' is an affectionate term that the japanese calls their japanese dramas..

Actually, i wanted to blog about another 21st birthday party that i'd attended last Saturday.. Joanne's really early birthday party at her nice house^^ One month in advance, as her bday clashes with their University exams..

JAESU: Hotties alert!!

hehe.. Latest scans from Tarzan magazine.. i've never seen it on sale in Singapore.. So the best i can get is the magazine scans..

Absolutely love their individual photos.. the other 3 members ones are not bad either.. It's just that.. having these 2 hotties' photos around is just so distracting *drools*


Love the unique black-white setting for the photos.. The lighting is good too~
The first one i saw was Jaejoong's .... I was like 'Aww... hot!'

Then i saw Junsu..
I was like 'OMG!!! That's even hotter!'
Junsu's quite charismatic when he's not acting cute, singing in his dolphin voice (boy, he can imitate dolphin sounds), joking around or when he becomes the butt of other members' jokes (that always happens.. but being the kind soul, he didnt take it to heart.. thats probably why they kept on bullying him?!?)

Looking at these photos again, they look a lil like hot gym instructors/fitness trainers (whichever u call them) promoting a new gym/fitness club.. With the weights and all.. Hehe..

Confessions of a shopaholic~ called Cloud..

Gee.. Actually, i dont consider myself a shopaholic.. I dont spend money like 'splashing water around' cos i dont have much money to begin with.. But in future, if u've tons of money to spare.. Hmm.. That will be hard to say.. Cos i think i've this inborn irresistable shopaholic gene.

Spent monday shopping in Orchard with YW..

Cos i wanna claim my movie premium which i won from Kinokuniya & YW wanted to go Centrepoint to check out how she can spend her $100 voucher. $100 only damn blardy easy to spend, yet she's still taking so long to think.. Faster spend before they expire then u regret la~ Heheheh..
And somehow the Kino person who called me to inform me that i'd won Confessions of a Shopaholic premium, i thought i heard a pair of movie tickets.. I swear i did leh.. Turned out that there isnt any tickets =x


Spent the rest of the time shopping around till night time..

I've no idea why i look so dark in the photo.

Bought jap magazine, hoodie jacket from 77th Street --i find the hot pink and black plastic carrier quite cool, Za eye shadow palette, nice Alice in Wonderland paper/notebook and a friend's bday present^^

YW spent most of her time thinking, whether to get a LongChamps bag, Sawarovski tinkerbell necklace, Armani bag, Gucci bag or Agnes B bag.. Happy thinking and considering la..

As for me, i won't be thinking of getting stuff in that league..
For i already have boxes full of bags, i dont need more.. i'm not an octopus, dont have so many pairs of hands to juggle multiple bags =p

and perhaps the cost of all my bags in the boxes are less than a Gucci bag alone.

Dined at a new restaurant in Orchard Cineleisure, happened to get a flyer with coupon which states one-for-one good deals.. Like fish and chips, 2 plates for the price of 1.. Woah~~ Sounds too good to be true. But hey, it's true.. Cos we ate there. The food's pretty ok.. Just that the ice cream on brownie that we wanted was sold-out =x
The name's CHICAGO... something something i forgot the 2nd part of the name.. it's beside Subway~

Was on Live Journal, getting a dose of DBSK stuff, their 4th jap album's officially released today.. I'll be waiting for the Asian edition cos it costs half the price of the Japanese version.

DBSK members were divided into 2 groups as they go on TV shows, radio... Everywhere la.. And the boys are doing stupid things for promotion of their album.. But fans are lovin' it..

Junsu the Sea bass, Yoochun the monkey, Changmin the dog..
3 of them hopping in a line in a serious manner was cute & when Junsu first did the hopping on his own, Chunnie and Minnie laughed so hard, Minnie fell to the floor.. Why are they always doing this to Junsu?~

Clips from some old variety show.. At least 1+year ago~
Jihwaza.. They played Human Tetris.. Taiwanese host Jacky Wu's variety show got a rip-off like theirs too~ One or more celebrity stand in front of a pool of water, just as a wall with a cutout moves faster and faster.. They've to contort their bodies to fit that shape to save themselves from being knocked into the water. This gif file should be 'moving' and shows Yunho, Jaejoong and Changmin.. But somehow it didnt work here =x





Watch from around 5th minute onwards..
Poor Micky~ He demostrated a nice taekwondo kick but he landed so heavily he couldnt stand up.. ouch! it looks so painful! And the guys moved in and carried him out, reminds me of paramedics stretchering injured player off the pitch.
Amazingly, Yunho still look nice even after he fell into the pool~



Jaejoongie Human tetris challenge was easier~
Yunho did a 2 person one & he carried the girl without hesitation when he saw what was coming --he made the girl seemed so featherweight, strong man heheh~

Also 2 other fun games.. Like putting 2 people in a room and funny things/people were introduced then they have to answer some question regarding that.
It's fun watching Yunho vs Shin Junghwan -a comedian, Yunho said proudly that he'd face-off Junghwan hyung several times and he won each time. Junghwan's face expression was priceless then~ LOL.. And the other celebs were telling Junghwan to stand further away from Yunho, cos the difference in face size was OBVIOUSLY large.. Yunho has this thin small face while that Junghwan had that big-typical-comedian-funny-type of face =D

i dont like that part where Junsu face-off Hyun Young though, she's like clinging on to him, saying she's scared & yeah really scared.. And hid behind him... Hello?! The room is so big, why does she have to stick around him? I know he's nice to touch la hah, so cant blame her for not keeping her hands off him.
I love Junsu's laughter though.. He he hehehe.. He he Hehehe..

Last game pits 4 celebs (2 from each team) on a movable rocking bed, they were asked a language/mathematical question, then they've to stack up their cushions (at least 4 thin cushions) of their team colour & kneel on them before they can attempt to answer the question.. Jaejoongie.. Being the unstable one, failed to answer even 1 question, the way he fell was very LOL. Changminnie's the smart and stable one.. Though standing at 186++cm, the tallest chap should've a higher centre of gravity ----but why is he the most stable?? Heehee.. Jaejoongie should be counting his lucky stars that he's in the same team as Minnie.

Celebrated Xinhui's 21st Birthday at Costa Sands Pasir Ris chalet~

Her relatives and friends were there, so the chalet was packed to the brim.. There was a LOT of PEOPLE and a LOT of FOOD..
We could only stand outside the chalet as they surrounded the birthday girl and her big cake ---with a picture of a key (that key doesnt look like a key cos it's red in color) I squeezed into the crowd while they were cutting the cake to catch a glimpse of the cake before it was eaten up. Hehe.. I'm such a cake lover.. I love all pastries basically. If i got the choice of either cake or bread, i'll definitely choose the former. I absolutely love chocolate cakes (mint choco, choco fudge, bitter choco..), cheesecakes, fluffy cakes (pandan and orange chiffon), ice cream cakes... etc.. Hmm.. Why am i digressing and making myself hungry??! Damn..

Ming Xiu bought the table lamp that Xin Hui wanted, i think she'd hinted about that and was expecting it, but that big box in a Harvey Norman plastic bag is hard to hide lor~
But i think LS they all wanted to keep her in 'suspense' for a longer while and refused to give it to her.. Luck Yong hugged the big box tightly and insisted that Ming Xiu bought it for him.
'It's for me, it's for me, he bought it for me one lorh..' Was so LOLs..
Later, i dunno which genius manage to hide it elsewhere & Xin Hui circled the whole group of ex-tee jaycians and couldnt find it.. Heheheheh..


Neighbouring chalet's Malay extended family's super HIGH super ON.. So united and enthusiastic about the games and all.. One woman (maybe it's her bday?? or she's a part-time emcee? i reckon it's the former) stood on the chalet porch's stone bench and shouted to the people gathered outside~
They played games like blowing balloons until it burst (burst in the face sia, not pain arh? yet so many of them participated with much gusto), tug-of-war involving adults and children.. First time seeing tug-of-war game being played outside of school carnival and orientation games.. It's good for family bonding though. But i think many families these days are that united & with Spore population dwindling, there isnt enough people to be divided into 2 parties.
Unbelievably HIGH & fun big family~ KK kept saying that they're on drugs.. Lol..

It's nice to meet up with several 2505 people whom i hadnt seen in awhile... Kar Kiat, Jia hui, Ming Xiu, Siu lun, Jeslyn, Vera, Constance, Ling shan..
I think i last met some of them in early 2007~ It was at 2505 chalet..
*Awaiting next chalet neh*

I think once classmates/schoolmates graduate from a school, it's hard to gather everyone again on the same day at the same place.. I think i hadnt seen many of my sec 2 and sec 4 classmates again ever since our graduation.. So i'm quite glad that i'm still in contact with some of my pri sch mates~
Many of them are studying overseas, Australia alone i've friends in Perth, Melbourne & Sydney, Canada, UK, US (United States is too big.. i arent sure which states are they in), Switzerland, China, Taiwan.. 2 of my friends recently came back from Amsterdam, Holland..
They are so lucky!!!

Stumbled upon this video of a 'live' performance, featuring Taeyang of Big Bang.. Oh yes, i'm beginning to love this group..
If u have time, can watch from the 3rd minute onwards.. It's AWWWW.... SO SWEET!!!!
He sang to this BIG girl (i think she's picked out from the crowd or sth.. i didnt watch the entire performance so i arent sure) I didnt mean to be mean to put the 'big' word in caps, but she looks quite big-sized, taller than Taeyang leh!!! She looks pleasantly surprised when Taeyang took off his cap and put it on her head gently... AWWW.. SO SWEET~~~~ Hehehe.. every girl would melt man!~



Btw, i'm already sick for a week.. Yeah celebrate 1 week anniversary liao.. *lame*

i'M FINALLY BACK!

Hehe.. After a couple of weeks, yeah.. My prelim exams ended on monday.. Can relax a lil, not a lot, try not to completely slip into the slacking mode.. Cos the REAL, ya really EXAMINATION coming in early May.. This time was just a 'warm-up'.. Testing the waters.. Hehe.. Really deep waters.. So gonna drown.. *blurp blurp bubbles bubbles blurp blurp blurp bubbles*
Knew it.. Will flunk several subjects =x

Bleahs.. Esp my first paper Econs.. Wrote until sian, gave up & walked out of the hall after running out of things to crap on... Many people did the same thing.. Hehe.. Maybe it's because it's just the prelims, walking out & flunking the paper don't have grave consequences. For the subsequent papers, it became the 'norm' for people to leave early, some of them even 'timed' so well, left just after an hour. (rule of the exam: no one is to leave the exam hall in the first hour and the last 20min)

But strangely enough, there's a whole lot of people who turned up for the exams, unexpected big crowds filled up the Grand Hall (yeah it's huge) fairly early for my Accounting paper. It starts at 10am, thought we were early when we joined the queue to enter the hall at 950am, until we saw people in front starting to U-turn. WOAH! So fast full already?!!!
We were told to head to 2 other LTs, i found a seat in the first lecture theatre Julie and i went to.. We went one of the first lot to get to that LT, but after we put our things down & got ready to find seats... WOAH! We realised that most of the seats had been taken. Thats super fast la!
So Julie had to head to another LT, that LT was really packed (with 'rejects' from the hall and other LT), students sitting side by side.... Can copy one lorh... Hehehehehheh..


Took a break during this couple of days, spent a day sing karaoke with Clover yesterday, finally a k-ing trip after 'planning' for it since like 2007??? Omg so long ago till i can't remember.. Lols... Yippeee~ I hadn't sang at ktv for at least 2 months.. Spent an hour or so the previous night listening to some Chinese songs, hehe hadn't been in very touch with Chinese songs these days. IT'S FUN to meet up with Clover after so LONG^^

Tomorrow, oki, it's today.. Going for sushi buffet with Mich and Julie.. Have a feast to celebrate the end of our prelims^^
It's been months since i last had a sushi buffet.. Heehee... Getting fatter again.. Darn.. Cos i can eat a whole lot of food at buffets.. The best eater in my family and among my friends.. Hehehe..

I eat most types of sushi.. except maki types, cos there's a whole lot of rice.. I'm not a Rice person.. Hehe.. I'm a Noodle person.
Love all sorts of noodles~ Soba. Ramen. Udon. Mee Pok. Egg noodles. Claypot noodles. Ban mian. You mian. Hong Kong mee. Fried Hokkien mee. E-mian. Crispy noodle. Instant noodles.....

The color for DBSK's red & SHINee's green.. I dunno how they came up with this, but their fans are always dressed in those colors. So when it comes to DBSK concerts, the whole stadium will look like Singapore during National Day celebration in National Stadium. A sea, no it's ocean... of RED~
