HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAMENASHI KAZUYA!

Seems like i'm busy doing posts to celebrate my idols' birthday..
Cos it seems that they're just so close~
From 26 jan, 4 feb, 18 feb, now 23 feb.. Keeps me busy..
As if i arent busy enough.. Hehehehe..

And he's TURNING 23rd on the 23rd! Same age as Jaejoong & U-know~
When i decided to blog..
I realised i didnt have that many photos of Kame ----i love that nickname people gave him... It's easier to remember and it does mean something in japanese! Hehe.. Turtle.. The cutest turtle in Japan~ Kame kame kame..

Kami no Shizuku!
His latest drama which started airing in Japan in mid-January, i'm in the midst of watching episode 2 only, guess i'll only've time to watch after my coming exams. Interesting story adapted from a manga~ About wines.. (can tell from this pic hor? hehe) but i know nuts about wine so when the brand, country, type, description, etc blah blah came out.. I was like ?!?!??!??? Didnt understand... But never mind, i would continue watching cos of Kame^^

Much-coveted February issue of an.an... Wanted to buy it on Monday at Kinokuniya when Julie told me about it earlier on.. But it was sold out way before that, i shld've gone there earlier =x
I asked the staff member who was arranging the magazines whether the feb issue's on sale, cos all i see is a stack of an.an Jan issue with Takuya Kimura on the cover. The staff told me it was sold very quickly when the stocks arrived, with lotsa people still calling to ask about it. She said Ngee Ann City and Liang Court branches also don't have, even over in Japan also don't have, so it's hard for them to order more for re-stocks. *faints*
I just asked her one question and she said so much.. Woots, means my hopes of laying my hands on a copy is next to zero liao =x

Oh and it also means that Kame's much popular than Takuya in Singapore =)
I immediately thought of that as i see that stack of unsold Jan issue of an.an, compared with the fast vanishing Feb issue with my dear Kame..

The Curious Cases of the Insects and Me

Hehe.. I got the idea of this title from the movie The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. I guess u've heard of this new movie right? Hehe. It's an interesting story in which the protagonist (Brad Pitt) ages backwards --born looking old & grows younger.. Fascinating~

Okies, back to my Case of Insects -Cockroach and ants to be exact
A backdating post to around CNY period..

Cockroach VS Premium Pesticide

One night, i wanted to take a shower, just before water rained from the sprinkler, i saw something crawl past the bathroom floor.. A cockroach.. Walau a!!! Where did this cockroach come from? I haven't seen cockroaches in the house for quite sometime.. How dare it invade my territory?!?
So i sprayed warm water on it using the shower sprinkler, cornering it with endless jets of water & it turned over, 3 pairs of legs moving haplessly. Actually, I turned the water heater to the max, but my lousy water heater can only produce warm water..

But i knew cockroahes are a resilient lot of creatures.. It'll probably stay still for awhile to 'play dead' then when the lights are off again, they'll be 'alive' once more..

I thought for awhile, but should i do to it?????
Tried to find something in the bathroom.. Probably something acidic?
Then i remembered the toner that i hadn't used in quite awhile, it contains salicylic acid. That should be mild acid, but i thought that may be useful..
As I poured onto the cockroach, it began to struggle & moved its legs in a frantic manner ---much faster than before. Woots, the toner seemed to produce some sort of effect on the cockroach! I was amazed. I arent sure how much toner i poured on it... perhaps till i realised it's a waste of my toner.. Hehe..

I continued showering --yays peace at last~
Though when the alcoholic based toner evaporated, the whole bathroom smelt of toner..

When my dad wanted to use the bathroom after me, i told him there's a cockroach. Then he asked 'Where???' I pointed to the cockroach which was still lying on its back at the corner, i wasn't sure if it was really dead. Hehe.. As my dad picked up the cockroach with a plastic bag, he said 'It's dead already la, it must have escaped from another house where the owner was spraying pesticide.'
I said 'No, i was the one who killed it.' Hehs.. My dad didnt say anything else. Cos it isnt the first time i'm killing cockroaches.
Just that this time round, it's the most GENTLE way of eliminating it. Previous incidents involved the violent use of my bro's slipper & newspapers. And it was usually quite loud (Bing bing bong bong) & my bro complained about the use of his slipper, i just didnt want to use mine (bleahs =p)

Till now, i haven't used that toner leh..
It's quite strong & have to be applied onto a wet face. When i used it for the first time, i didnt read the instructions and felt a stinging sensation when i applied on a dry face.

By the way, if u're wondering what this premium pesticide is...
It's L'oreal Pure Zone (blue coloured series for oily skin) Toner..
So useful.. Serves as a toner and a pesticide..


The Ants that Invaded my Bak kwa

Bak Kwa's one of my fav food in Chinese New Year.. My mum bought a kilo of bak kwa and pan-fried half a kg of it herself. Lesser oil, make this unhealthy food healthier~
One day, i walked by the kitchen & saw many ants crawling on our kitchen table.. WALAU eh! I traced the ants track.. To my horror, it led to the box of aromatic bak kwa!!!!!!!!! Argh!

The bak kwa was stored in a transparent microwave-safe box, we didnt think the ants could find the sealed box. But these smart army of ants swarmed in from 2 corners of the box. Shhheeeet.. I didnt know what to do with that box.
If it's other food, i'll probably throw it away..
But it's expensive and tasty bak kwa which my mom spent quite sometime frying the previous day..
So i asked my bro..

He thought of putting bak kwa in hot water to remove the ants.. And i did just that.. And put them in a transparent plastic bag.

When my parents came home, they saw a bag of bak kwa hanging from the kitchen cabinet's hook. They figured out that something must've happened to it.. Hehs.. We forgot to tell them..
My mum immediately went to toast dry the bak kwa, hopefully it won't spoil.

It was really annoyed by those ants.. My windows live messenger's personal msg then was 'Argh.. ants invaded my bak kwa'

Choikang Changmin MAX's 21st birthday~
Hehe.. As promised, i'll blog to celebrate each Dong Bang Shin Ki members' birthday^^

Max's the baby of DBSK --youngest.. though he seemed to be the most mature & acts like a big bro.. It's weird la. The eldest Jaejoong acts as though he's the youngest & vice versa.. Temperamental and can explode v easily..

I like the way he screams in their songs~ Mich calls him the Screamer~
His voice reminds me of the male version of Ayumi Hamasaki --loud, powerful, high pitch & at times too sharp it makes u cringe.. That gives rise to his nickname Choikang which is 最强.. Translate to english --Max =D



Ahh yes, i used to like him.. The 3rd member that i noticed.
1st was Jaejoong, 2nd was Yunho.. 4th was Junsu.

Now, i'm just into Jaejoong and Junsu.. Woo.. the double Js~

Changmin's in teddy bears heaven~
Cute neh~ Ahh ha.. I'm talking about the bears, not Changmin..

I used to find Changmin cute.. Okies, he looked really cute when DBSK debuted..
He was around 15 then.. Over the years, hmmmmmmmm.. i dunno what happened to him la..

He began to look kinda weird.. His eyes will've a very big difference in size whenever he's feeling really happy/excited. In Chinese, we call it大小眼. His lips also look weird at times..

And i think he looks horrible with long hair.. So i decided not to post any pics from his long-haired days to 'give him face' on his birthday. This pic is an exception. I like the way his hair was done up.. Just like Ueda Tetsuya from KAT-TUN who'd this hairstyle sometime back.
A bit like girl's hair... BUT, I LIKE~





He's current hairstyle's quite short~ The straight 'bowl' fringe makes him look dumb.. Luckily, their fashion stylist puts them in nice tailored/coordinated clothes, so he won't risk looking like a village boy/countryside pumpkin.

Gonna get cake smashed into his face --thats DBSK's tradition btw.. i wonder why actually..
They always smash birthday cakes into the birthday boy's face..
I saw photos from DBSK's Bangkok performance, last week, it was near U-know Yunho's birthday, they celebrated for him onstage.. There comes the cake, Micky lifts it with both hands.. Someone grabbed hold of Yunho's waist from the back.. And the rest is history.. LOLs..
And in the midst of the 'chaos', i dunno who's the cheeky one who put the emptied cake tray/plate on top of Yunho's head. And the funny thing was, Yunho didnt remove it neither did it slide off.. I wonder how he balanced it that well.. Hehe.. Maybe he'd some modelling training pre-debut~
Until some kind soul took it away from his head =p

6 feb's U-know's birthday~

It's the first time i've put up a post just for U-know -the band leader of DBSK^^
I've put up happy birthday posts in the past years for my fav member Jaejoong..

This year, i decided to be fair.. Heehee.. Since i like all 5 of them..
It started with ai4 wu1 ji2 wu1.. -- i like Jaejoong, then started noticing and liking the other 4 too =D
Time flies.. They've been in the music industry for 5+ years.. Been seniors in their company & bringing out the juniors.. Super Junior, Girls Generation, SHINee..

I remembered that the last time i put this as my msn display pic, YW commented that he look cute.. Yeah, that's why i like this picture too~

This black and white picture adds an aura of sophistication, together with the fedora hat.. Very shen1 shi4 feng1


He looks good in stripes too~ Hehe.. just like Yamapi.. Hotness!
I like the way he dances, brimming with confidence, with every movement & maintaining eye contact with the audience just shows that he's a true performer. When he starts dancing, he has the power to make people stop and stare -in admiration that is..

The last 2 pictures are from their 4th Korean album Mirotic.. Some of them have already changed their hair color and hairstyles already... Hoots.. So it's time for me to go scout for newer pictures..


Next scheduled bday post: 18 feb.. Baby of DBSK Max's 21st birthday~
4 of DBSK's members' bdays are close to each other.
Xiah's in late dec, Jaejoong's in late Jan, U-know's in early feb, Max's in mid-late feb, Micky's in Jun.. Sometime away la.. Hopefully i remember to dedicate a post to him..
