Few precious photos that serve as memory of my time spent there..

Doing sai gang.. Lol.. Anywhere that needs help, we'll go.. One of the in-charge there said jokingly that even domestic helpers have a specific job scope, but we? Our job scope can be described as 'Others' & have to be on call like 24/7.

Spent much time putting together the performance brochures which are going to be sold at the entrance, it involves many different sheets of paper printed on nice paper and colour coded. We arranged them according to height of papers and put them in a paper file. There were around 500/600 files and we completed putting most of them within hours in a factory assembly line style. 1 person's in charge of putting together 2 to 3 pieces of paper and pass it on to another person, at the end of the line, 1 or 2 persons will put more than 10 sheets of paper into 1 paper file. While another person arranges the files into stacks of 10/20 and do the counting. Hitting first 100, then 200... Yeah! How many more to go~ To keep the spirits up.. Haha..

There are 2 shows on that day. 3pm and 8pm. Many kids attended the afternoon show, i think they are part of drama/dance clubs. Most of the girls (like me) sat and watched both shows, to cheer and clap at the right moments to help bring up the atmosphere in the audience. Haha.. we are like the 'fake enthu' audience. Leave the backstage prop shifting to the guys =p

The most sian part is waiting for the night show to start.. slacked around the backstage, joined Yan ning who's playing 'find words in a jumbled puzzle' type of game using Angel's book. Strained our eyes to look for the words. Horizontal ones are the most easy to spot but those words put in a diagonal manner or words in reverse order are so hard to spot. People who walked by helped to look for the words too.. Haha.. Then Derek lao shi's like 'aiyo this kind of game so waste time.' Yan ning replied 'But we've got time to waste!' Yeah true..

Derek lao shi wanted Yan ning to pass him the book and began to strain his eyes to look for the last word in that page which we'd problems finding. Eventually Zhi cheng found the word, lao shi was like 'Don't tell me, i want to find it myself.' Yan ning was like 'Hur? I thought u said this game very waste time de?!'

Then Derek lao shi flipped the pages of the book and asked whose is it, when Yan ning replied it's Angel's... lao shi began to add in things into the book.

There's a title for the words to look for in each page and he began to write phrases/words that are somehow related to that title. Very sarcastic and bad one lorh... But it's very funny, all of us were craning our necks to see what's he writing before he flips the page.

Bing zhi happened to walk by and when he saw what was written inside, he said 'Aye never mind, just say it's written by Zi kang.'

Zi kang went 'WHAT!?! I heard my name!' immediately & came over. BZ quickly said 'Ohh nothing.. i say ZK 很帅' Lol.. 骗谁嘛? BZ turned his head away and said 'Argh! Can't stand it, i want to go puke liao' and he walked off.

Another word for 'Dirty' = Angel

Football = Your head

River = Jump into it and drown (lao shi was stuck at this for a split moment.. he said 'ahh.. this one hard to write.. then YY said 'Jump in'....)

He wrote around 40 pages, he would have continued writing cos 越写越爽i guess, if not for YY who said 'u wrote so many pages, can stop le la...' Haha.. I'm so sorry Angel.. It's just so funny lorh..

Night show

Mostly secondary school students~

They can cheer and clap more loudly than we do, haha so we needn't cheer or clap much during that show. Saw Vincent Ng when he walked to his seat in the front rows. Woots! He wore a cap pulled low to 'hide' his face, but no use la~ People still recognise him. YY's the first to notice.. 'Hey! weng1 qing1 hai3 leh!!!!!' Haha.. 帅哥!

There's a former actor (cameo? or stage actor? i dun quite remember.. but i just thought his face's like so familiar, i should've seen him on tv before) seated on the same back row with us. The director sat beside him before the interval, btw the director Luis had cameos in many Mediacorp dramas over the years, mostly as Ah bengs. Haha.. The sec sch guys in the row in front of us recognised him too, i overheard them saying 'That guy in white shirt, starred in同心圆leh'

During the interval we went out to take a break, saw something really interesting¬

HOW TO MAKE SMALL BOUQUETS OF FLOWERS IN 3 MINUTES

-Take a stalk or stalks of flowers from flower displays at the lobby presented as gifts to wish for a successful performance.

-Tadah! Within minutes u can get a small bouquet instantly, which can be used to present to the performers at the end of the show

Free one surmore..

The performance's great.. Yeah.. The performers are all senior dancers~ So technique wise.. perfect! Even if there's any mistakes, they'll be skilled enough to cover up to ensure a flawless performance. What i admire is that they can sing and dance at the same time without sounding breathless. Or rather singing while dancing looks so effortless! Dancing so graciously with FEEL.

End of performance, time to pack up & clear the stage.

Zi kang suddenly came running around excitedly saying '有人送我花!有人送我花!'

We were like 'HUR?!' he didnt perform why would anyone give him flowers? Then a girl came up and said Zi kang took the flower that she wanted to give someone else. LOL... So malu!

Undeterred, ZK tried this again (twice) with flowers he got from i dunno where and claimed that it's his, until everyone got so sian... Wei ren went 'hah nah hah nah.. 我送你花!' taking the flower from ZK and passing it to him again.

Then when he took a big bouquet of flowers out (everyone could recognise that it's the bouquet presented to the director onstage) and said 有人送我花! again, everyone was like 'He's so childish!' Can't stand him, but it's funny~

Forgot to mention there's another guy which many can recognise. 玖健he's like the singing lead in the production. I remember him acting in a sitcom many many years ago.. he wrote many songs for tv dramas too. At the end of the performance, while we were clearing up, he came up to us and treated us to almond biscuits and thanked us for our help rendered. Nice~

Reached home at 1140pm...

Cloud had an interesting experience as backstage crew~
