Visit to the physiotherapist clinic in school

Booked an appointment at 530pm, when i went there, i was shocked to see so many people there, 1 guy lying on the bed while being massaged by Rachel (year 3, whose helping the physiotherapist Karen), 1 girl being treated by Karen and 2 others waiting... The guy lying on the bed was grimacing in pain, he tried hard not to scream and tolerate the pain but couldnt letting out loud 'Ouchs!' As the place was crowded, with no binds/partition or whatsoever to separate the bed from the rest of us and the door to the crammed clinic or rather room was opened, sound travels fast... In the end, he cupped his mouth to stifle his moaning. The next guy seemed worse off, as he was lying facedown he tried to grab something, first a raffia string tied under the bed (i have no idea what purpose does that serve) then he grabbed hold of the 2 legs of the bed tightly in desperation (at least they offer better grip (^w^). I could see his arm muscles tensing up as he tried to tolerate the extreme pain. On seeing that the girls there were like 'EEks-ee-yaahh... So painful arh?!' Guys are guys lah... They try to tahan tahan and tahan until CMI (esp when there's girls around)

Waited for almost an hour... Sianz... Was asked to help a girl do the ultrasound thingy (move a device over the back of her thigh after applying some transparent gel) And she thought i was some helper or first aider, i said 'No, i'm injured!' then she was like 'oh, thank you thank you'. She better be grateful lorx, moving that darn device for duno how long but i am sure it's very long cos my arms were aching so it wasnt that easy.

Finally it's my turn... Told her about my calf and thigh injuries. Instead of massaging my leg right away she asked me to take off my shoes and socks and stand upright. That was when Karen dropped the BOMB! She said 'Hey you're extremely flat footed' I was like 'HUH?!?' Totally caught offguard by her comment. She took pics using my hp to show me my flat feet and said 'I could kill an ant by stepping on it.' Bleahs sobsobs.. ToT

All along i was more confident of my legpower, i never thought there could be something wrong with my feet. I'd been running for so many, so so many, so so many many years and i can run pretty fast so it didnt occur to me that i'm a flat footer who supposedly cant run.
*Feeling the aftershocks of the bomb*
If there's anything wrong with me physically, it should be my arms as i've no armpower and struggle to pass inclined pull-up each year and flex arm hang (in the pri sch days) for each NAPFA test. My arms always kenna jammed on my way up and cant go up any further, like that the total pull up count will be 0.. oh yes z.e.r.o. WTH. Scoring more than 20 out of 30 points each year, i can fail spectacularly just because i didnt pass inclined. WTH. MOE should really consider abolishing such an unfair method of fitness testing.

Now back to story:
Left school at 7+pm.. Limping away..
The physiotherapist only massaged my calf, so both thighs were still aching.
Surprised to see Hj and Jo outside White Sands & chatted for awhile.
Told them about my newly discovered 'secret'
All i see was shocked faces.. Hehe.. They knew i could run fast since sec sch days and it was kinda surprising for them too~
Thanks Hj and Jo for your concern!^^
I'll rest well and hope my leg recovers asap.

HOME:
I was determined to find out where the heck i got those defective gene/trait from, so i inspected my family members' feet. My dad's got a fallen arch but at least it isnt flat. When he touched my arch, he asked 'an zhua bo eh?' (in hokkien~ it means 'how come dont have?') Woohoo.. sobsobs..

NOW~
My left calf's feeling better after physiotherapy, both thigh muscles are still strained.
Limping around~

CLoUD's in a bad shape
