PHOTO SOCIETY OUTING+DINNER

Went from Esplanade to River Hongbao (the english name of the place sounds really funny to me) on friday afternoon to take pictures, though i reckon there arent many picture-worthy scenery there haha. Was melting under the hot sun... -.-'''''''

Somehow we spent much time under the bridge with a steep slope, some of them were like monkeys climbling up & down like nobody's business. 2 'cool' guys with well-worn shoes even glided down the slope like some pro skiers skiing down the snowy slopes of some mountain in some corner of Northern hemisphere. It was a dangerous act, as tumbling down a high steep slope at a fast speed isnt a funny thing. The friction ruins soles of the shoes too, that's why the other guys didnt try i guess.

Standing at the foot of this slope reminded me of CG2406 PAE's outing whereby all the guys climbed up this slope & slided down together. A wonderful sight, people sliding down this gigantic slide but the slope was kinda dirty & left them with either blackened/whitened hot(due to friction) butts lol. *Reminiscing about the fun memorable times we had during 1st 3 mths*

Back to the present: The noise level was a little high & we attracted the curious stares of passers-by, mostly China tourists. I spotted somebody sleeping under the bridge near the slope, but he seemed oblivious to the noise they made.

DINNER AT BREEKS marina square!

yummy! YUMMY! haha
Shared 5 items with Mel to maximise our budget of 25 bucks per person heheh.. Love Mel!
As many of the club members were carrying DSLR cameras so they snapped photos of food. I reckon we look like a bunch of freakish people: 3 people pointing their big cameras from different angles to snap a shot of a dish... Taking multiple shots of the pouring of sauce on a steak. But who cares? haha that series of shots looked cool. I'd never tried anything like that.
At Breeks, the workers would say 'Hi! Welcome to Breeks!' when diners enter the restaurant and 'Thank you please come again' or something like that in unison at the cue of one of the waitresses. It's supposed to give customers a warm dining experience but the half-hearted monotonous voices of the workers seemed as though they were chanting. A total of 14 of us went in, they didnt say welcome to us... we took our time to walk through the door after dinner, they didnt thank us at all. Just because we made reservations, it doesnt mean we can be treated differently from the others. Not that i enjoy their chants though.

Here's some photos taken by me... using HP that's why it's so blur..

This is the Massive Attack ordered by 3 people. Super sweet! I tried a spoonful of it & sank the straw into the big bowl of ice cream at the recommendation of jess & sy and sucked, i tasted chocolate, milo & something else which tasted like vanilla/milk/cream. Awfully sweet!

Just in case u are still wondering, how big is the big bowl... here's the closeup.. See the layers of ice cream? haha

I still prefer Vanilla X (vanilla ice cream with a dash of esspresso & decorated with chocolate chips) Not too sweet, just nice..

The chocolate 'tower' was ordered by samuel haha when i went forward to take a pic of his dessert, he struck an act cute pose behind the ice cream haha didnt catch that shot..

When we got bored after eating, i continued finding things to take pic of... Made the straws 'pose' for me. Those empty cups were originally filled with iced hazelnut mocha with vanilla & lime mocktail (regretted not taking pics b4 drinking them) i prefer dense slightly bitter mocha better whereas mel preferred the sour refreshing lime mocktail. Guys sharing the same tables as us pouring water from different glasses into one & took snapshots of glass with water filled to or rather slightly above the brim. I waited for it to overflow, but it didnt... they're so skillful in pouring eh? no filter funnels needed.
Reached home at 11pm... Zzzzzzzzzzzz
