First trip to IKEA megastore in Tampines yesterday night.
Of course i reckon nobody leaves the place without buying anything. There's just too many interesting things in there.
On the previous trip, my parents bought a nice sofa-chair which is so comfy that you can fall asleep without yourself knowing it after sitting there for sometime.
This time, bought a long mirror for just below $10... heehee i can stand in front of it to see if my outfit matches the next time i go out.
I went with my family & strolled in the meandering showrooms on 2 levels, the place is really mega... so BIG. Especially the warehouse product store whereby all the furniture or larger products were stored in numerous shelves. They looked kinda intimidating though, i suddenly feel like a Hobbit in the world of elves~ haha
I find the specially created showrooms that show how people can arrange furniture & make full use of whatever limited space they have. Living in 22m3, 55m3 apartments and etc.. Makes me wonder what life will be like in singapore years down the road. So cramped. Can really feel the 4 cold walls 'exerting' their 'strength' in such an enclosed area. I dun think i can afford a spacious apartment or house given the steep property & land prices in future. Unless i can get a high-paying job or marry a rich man or strike Toto/4D jackpot. Lol.
The supermarket store beside the showrooms sells a variey of Swedish food. Looks yummy! Whoa! Lots of people were queuing as Sweden imported food products are hard to come by in Singapore. I bought a carton of sweet oat cookies, Yes there's no typo error, the cookies are really packed in a CARTON. Haha this is the 1st time that i see cookies packaged in this way... How should i describe the carton? Think along the lines of cardboard cartons used to put fruits. The closest cousin to it is probably the ones for persissmons from Israel (sorry i only know how to eat but dunno how to spell the name)
And the sweet oat cookies are really tasty! The cookies are in thin slices & mildly sweetened, so it makes a great light snack & you wont feel full after feasting on it. Half the pack's already gone by now~ lol
Next time if ya go there, can buy some foodstuff to try... it's worth it! Really! Though the prices are steeper than the ordinary ones you can find in NTUC supermarket.

Yummy! Yummy! I love cookies!
Dont remind me that i'm getting fat just for this while heheh
