Some of my friends who heaved a sigh of relief after their bio papers yesterday.. It spells the end of two years of torture spent in preparation of As. Good for the most of them... Can rest for half a year~~ While i still have to slog my guts out next yearHahaWent Vivocity together with them & spent almost the whole day there, not just to shop... We'd a greater task at hand -celebrate xz's birthday in advance as june's going overseas soon. Both of them came late, so 3 of us went to buy a cake & plan a surprise bday celebration for her.Thank goodness there's an outlet of Breadtalk there, though the cakes are a little pricey, i dun know of anymore cake shops in vivocity.Next the 3 of us went in search of servettes (spelt correctly?) from BK... haha cindy & i took turns & went in to get them, while the other 3 tried to delay a little. We told them to bring xz for a tour in the groundfloor of sth while we prepared the stuff. Finally we decided to celebrate near the playarea where there's chairs & tables in the shade. The place looked made just for us. Lol.Eventually she came, i dunno whether she sort of guessed that we were planning to celebrate her bday. Just dun care... she's got to pretend that she's surprised anyway. I love the delicious chocolate cake & i hope all of them enjoyed it(not just the cake of course) too!Watched Happy Feet at GV max.All i can say it's so-so, the sound effects in the 720 seater theatre's great but i cant say the same about the movie.Maybe it's just meant for kids, cuz the plot's too simple & all the lead characters (penguins) do is sing, dance & tap their feet.Mimi was like exclaiming this movie was a waste of money & she gave it a zero rating.. lol the way she said it was so animated..I arent that 'extreme' as her, just think that Happy Feet isnt worth my 8bucks. *thinking of alternative ways to spend $8* hahaAnyway, i saw so many familiar faces in Vivocity & TJCians are like everywhere... haha. I overheard a lady whispering 'tjc' to her friend when we walked past her as some of my friends were in uniform.Dun think i'll go to Vivocity anymore for the timebeing kinda sick of the place after 3 trips. There's nothing much to do there except to watch movies. Haha so when another friend smsed me when i was heading home asking me whether i wanna go Vivocity with her this weekend.. i also fainted haha. Sorry dor! Didnt mean to drag u to orchard instead!

Hadnt been blogging for a weekSo now i'm back with 2 entries at a go hahaDoulos was a disappointmentIt's the cruise that goes around the world selling books.A novelty. Sure i doubt many Singaporeans had bought books onboard a ship. Little wonder why so many people braved the sweltering heat & boarded the cruise on a hot friday afternoon. But the collection of books was too meagre, the place looked much smaller then what i saw in the newsapers & tv. Quite disapointed at the lack of variety of books~ A large part of that small space available was dedicated to books on Christianity, since i'm neither a Christian nor interested in Religious studies, i gave that section a miss. Childrens' section took up another chunk of space, since i arent a kid anymore, there's no point loitering there as though i'm looking for books for my non-existent little sister. So, i left the place empty-handed, really didnt find anything that i want to buy~ SighI headed for Vivocity instead. Page One bookshop's NICE! haha it's spacious & boosts a huge collection of magazines & books (esp Chinese books). I bought a taiwanese magazine & was surprised to see my purchase being presented to me in a NICE green paper bag. Wow! Love the simply designed yet classy paper bag.

MY beloved Goong -Princess HoursGotta miss Goong which is going, going, gone!(that's my msn nick for now)Lat episode shown on channel U today, which means...Haiz.. No more sitting in front of the tv punctually at 7pm to watch my fav korean drama~~ Sobx SobxMiss Lee Yul! The scriptwriter made this character so tragic, so sad, seeing him cry made me sad too... *wrinching heartache* though not to the extent of making me cry together with him.I'll continue to support Jeong Hoon aka Lee Yul~~Hmm... I guess i'll stick to this super nice blogskin & song until i weaned myself off Goong addiction... hahaAs for the Goong sequel, i'm afraid it might not be as nice as the first. The main characters in the first drama will be written off in the sequel, with the introduction of all-new characters. This idea sounds strange, because you cant really call that a sequel anymore since the leads are M.I.A.As for the sequel's plot, it's about finding a prince whom lived his whole life as a commoner to enter the palace to ascend the throne.Sounds vaguely familiar? Hmm like the male version of Caijing... a commoner thrown into the strict & harsh palace environment. Struggle. Resentment. Love tangles... +=+ goong addiction +=+

Yesterday's the class BBQ at East Coast Parkaround 15 or 16 people turned up~Here's some photos takena little blur though cuz not enough lightAs for the 3rd shot.. i dunno what's darren & di hui's trying to do lah hahaThe last shot is of the 'campfire' that darren started on the beach after we made a surprise bdae gift to yawen: heart created by sparklers lit by all of usHe refused to believe that the wet ball of twine cant be lit so he added twigs, leaves to the pile & yeps the white thingy is a fork found on the beach. But it's the coconut husks added by sixuan that kept the flames going~ well i almost forgot about that. Reminiscing the girl guides days~ we used coconut husks to burn too!

On sunday evening 5 of us (di hui, jia hui, si xuan & xin an )went to Parkway giant to get food for monday's class BBQ~
Actually we expected more to come, hmm budden all pang seh left the 4 of us & later the-forever-so-slow-&-laggy xin an joined us for dinner & helped to take the food to sixuan's house. The pic below's taken in Pastamania... we were wondering soo much stuff how to carry? Haha but we did anyway~
At sixuan's house~
We marinated the chicken... haha i first time neh but i reckon i fared much better than xin an... muahaha the way he handled the chicken after we forced him to help us is soooo funny. Too bad there arent any videos to show..
SX's mum is soo cute.. haha suan-ed her so much. She asked her to learn from di hui who's like a pro in the kitchen & can differentiate expensive sea salt from normal salt. She also asked jia hui to teach her how to dress nice-nice as she's different from her mum who likes to dress nicely.

This irritating prank caller had been calling my home number for quite sometime. Whether it's early in the morning or in the wee hours of the night, this fellow dun fail to call. The shrill ringing tone of the telephone wake my parents up... not me haha i'm a sound sleeper. Initially he would either keep talking on the phone or keep totally quiet. Either way we cant understand him. Dunno what language he's speaking in. We suspect he's a foreign worker who had gotten too bored in spore. Now, he would call & hang up after a few rings, so now all my family members got this habit of picking up the receiver only after several more rings. Not that we want to keep the friend/relative on the other end wait... We have our reasons neh.My mum's got a great idea: prank call him using public phones since we've got plenty of phonecards. If we dun use them they gotta expire by year-end i think. So bu4 yong4 bai2 bu4 yong4, give him an eye for an eye. Haha... When he received the call, my mum wont talk just let him waste $ & true enough that fellow didnt hang up after hearing nthg from the other end of the line. He continued talking in whatever-i-dun-understand-&-dun-bother-to-comprehend language.Soon, he stopped calling our house for a while.Yes a while only.Once he start prank calling us, my mum would call back... If he dun disturb us, we wont disturb him. That's our stance.Btw, should tell yall his number: 81169908If yall's home no is a private no or if u have too many soon going to be ancient relics phonecards, can call this no for fun.Neednt talk. Listen & try to guess what language he's speaking in. Great riddle hurhur?

I still cant remember 1h+ later. Shucks!Nvm... Talk abt sth else:I'm reading Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, courtesy of sky!NiCe! I'm only at book 11... looks like this story isnt going to end anytime soon~ Hmm so maybe i'll try to source for the rest of the episodes when they're available. Or if all else fails, watching the anime on channel u isnt a bad idea either. haha just watched an episode of it, it's in the early stages of the manga, which i missed since sky started purchasing the comic only after book 3. Great!= cLouD lov tsubasa =

Boo!
New blogskin!
Of goong-princess hours!
Yahoo! As i'm a lazy person, i find changing blogskins very sian, got to mangle with the html codes & relink my buddies. Since my list of links is damn looonnggg... it took me a whole lot of time to copy & paste those links in~ haiiz i'm now looking like this @.@ dead tired at looking the codes. But this cute blogskin of goong made me change my mind. Lee Yul's very very very cute ( see one of the pics above waah! ) Lucky me the blog turned out NICE! Yipee~ Now i can 'rest' in peace.
I still adore my previous blogskin, fairytale~ so shiny glittery with a lot of compartments. The 1st blogskin that i used also had compartments linking to diff pgs like 'links' & 'tags' and so on. So this is the 1st time that i'm using this kind of layout, maybe i'll take sometime to get used to it. As the prev blogskin's main color is black, my font color choice tends to be quite light/bright so that it stands out in the black background. Now it's white - i love white, but if some of the fonts dont turn out while against white.. hmm sorry yoz... let yall squirm a little~

Fresh fresh veggies Freshly plucked out from the soil!Yummy! Tasty! Yes~My dad planted tapioca outside my house some time ago.The tapioca leaves grew bigger day by day & my proud dad couldnt stop proclaiming how big the leaves of the tapioca that he'd grown become under his tender care. HahaMy mum harvested them & cooked a dish of tapioca leaves for dinner couple of days ago. It's much tender than those bought at the markets, she neednt peel off parts of the stem that was too rough. Yummy! Here's a funny convo b/n my parents:Dad: hmm.. the vegetables taste the same as the ones bought outside (disappointed tone)Mum: If it really tastes different, would you dare to eat it then?Lols~ true true.Waiting for the next batch of veggies to be harvested~
