jas said my entries in the blog are sparse, haha... okies.. cant help it la... i dun blog as often as u, u know. I arent addicted to the computer anyway. too busy watching taiwanese drama 《 恶作剧之吻 〉〉on vcd (thanks to sam for lending me her bdae prezzie) and KO one 《 终极一班 >> on youtube. FUN sia! love them! the main characters are also darn cute to the core. i wanna be tian cai zhi shu! be cool mr ding xiaoyu whom i suspect is wearing eyeliner.. haha

looking forward to Superband finals next week
can't wait..

Pets Day @ teejaycee

The pets' turnout wasnt that great, as expected- teejaycians arent known to be enthusiastic about school events.
After morning assembly, there was this pet parade... a huge black dog, which i dunno what breed cuz i am not into dogs was scary. a black persian cat was scary too.. look at those eyes.. eeks!
In the afternoon, there were a series of pet competitions namely the cutest pet, the dog & owner eating competition, hamster maze, rabbit nibbling. My dear fren BY's hamster named hamster, even though she likes to call it 'lao shu' which means 'mouse'. Haha. She eagerly signed up her hamster for the maze competition, but her cg was taking photos just at that time, so she put her pet into my care for the time being. After sometime, a couple more hamsters turned up for the maze game. I thought the competition was about to start when the hosts put the cardboard mazes on the table, so i took out BY's hamster gently- i hope, as BY hadnt finished with the cg phototaking. The first time i'm holding a hamster! OMG! okays~ i arent a fan of animals but good thing is, i arent scared of them either. It's just a small hamster- no harm right?
Just then, BY rushed back.. whew!
BY's hamster got 3rd placing haha out of 3 hamsters which participated, the last hamster refused to move when it was placed in the cardboard maze so the owner eventually gave up. But it wasnt that fair since the 2nd place went to a big rat-like hamster and it wanted to climb over the walls of the maze instead of going through the 'doors'. The owner & fren put the 'rat' into their shirt pockets & one guy even put in shreds of toilet paper for it. When i first saw it, i was like hmmm... the guy's probably too lazy to bring a cage for his pet. Lol. The prize for 3rd placing was good -full of japan imported hamster food, water dispenser& the 'floorings' of the cage ( i forgot the actual name)

Talking about pets, i have lots~ 1 aquarium of fish, 1 'outdoor' pond with fish & a terrapin. Too bad they are water-based, so i cant bring them anywhere, but not that i mind. Cuz i think bringing pets out can be troublesome & having big pets at home can intrude my 'privacy' as the pet can roam around freely the house.

Surprise Surprise Surprise!!!

More abt Superband!
Yahoo! the 4 grand finalists are all my faves!
The last semi final was great!

J3 members could dance! Though the movements were relatively simple, they executed them with style, though tbey arent in the same league ( in terms of dancing ) with Soul, I think they did a great job.
Misaki from Lucify can actually play the piano well! It took me a while to get used to a melodic keyboard playing Misaki, a clear deviation from his usual electric guitar wielding J-rock wannabe style.
Lucify's costumes were as usual --super AA & stunning, but undeniably stylish, creative & great looking. I think those fanciful costumes would look even betterif they were to put up a dance. But can Lucify dance? Hmm....... I don't know.
I think Jap rockers jump more than they dance, so forget it la..
MLB 's not bad either. Their choice of songs surprised me~ why choose a Sammi Cheng's fast track? That song is so not their type. Nevertheless, they did a great job -with their own style.

they sang 2 songs by DFSQ... i think their singing skills improved~ that's gd news. Last week, i almost broke out in cold sweat when they had to sing an Ado's song.
( just got to know that 3 members of Soul are ex-TJCians, my dear friend yt showed me their photos taken from the yearbooks. Gosh! andy & justis look really different, whereas awi was recognisable from the cg photo. ) Haha.. this gives me a greater reason to support them. Gambatte!

KBOX-ing to celebrate dear sam's bdae

last friday, a dozen of 2505 girls went to pizza hut for lunch.. it has been such a longtime since i last had lunch with you all. ( cindy, sam, xz, yt, angel, ls, xh, const, mimi, pekkie, june) watching ls & xh eating was funny enough to let me laugh till my stomach hurt...the chilli sauce thingy was real funny... shant elaborate more, just in case nobody dares to use that bottle of chilli sauce from pizza hut bedok. hahaha

later 5 of us went to kbox parkway to sing~
fun! sang some high songs like 柯有伦's 零 can scream like siao... unleash all your fury & jump[ on the sofa for all you want.. haha. sam & cin had sore throat afterwards, but surprisingly i didnt... despite eating so much peanuts there... maybe i didnt use my throat to scream.
they had written a songlist before that, a total of more than 80 songs, i guess.. so our song schedule was pretty packed, we either skipped the ending of the MV after finishing the songs or skipped the later parts of the song after singing the chorus & got sick of the repetitive lyrics. that's how we managed to sing so many songs within the five & a half hours. singing mavis hee's 铁窗 was eerie, the lyrics really reflects her situation now, been locked behind bars, not in a prison but institute of mental health, what's the difference anyway, no freedom. singing 城里的月光 was sad~ so we didnt finish singing her songs...>so sad leh

Cruise Holiday to Redang Island (21-23 jun)

Redang island may not ring a bell in people's heads but those who know the movie, 夏日 momo 茶starring Sammi cheng & Richie ren was filmed on that island couple of years ago.

I wanted to write about the cruise holiday earlier on... but no time la... so backtrack a bit... haha
That was my 1st time on cruise, my cabin's on deck 11, i believe it was just beneath the swimming pool... haha.. fancy sleeping under a swimming pool & with workers cleaning the pool in the latelate night, my dad initially wondered why people were dragging heavy things around at night.
On cruise: eat+eat+eat... i ate loads of food while i was there, came back to spore slightly heavier. Of course, eating up to 2 lunches/dinners+ supper in the wee hours of the night. Displaying the sheer gluttony of human behaviour while on holiday. Lol.
Went into the casino to take a look, nothing special actually, wonder why Sporeans flock there just to gamble. Btw, i neednt sneak in, the minimum entry age is 18... i can just strut in to kaypoh.

The redang island was surprisingly small, smaller than Sentosa's siloso beach & was really crowded... after taking some photos to prive 'we were there', my family left the island.

On the 2nd day, i saw a tj teacher on holiday too... haha...but since she wont know me, i didnt greet her..

sUpeRbAnD revival rounds are so redundant. The band that was eliminated the week before, got back into the race for the sUpeRbAnD title the revival round the following week. First it was Lucify, now mi lu bing... Wah! they wasted a total of 4 episodes by trying to 'kick' them out of the show. Haha.. lame sia
nevertheless, i'll keep watching the show... the remaining bands are getting better... Yeah!!!
Love soul, lucify, mi lu bing... jiayou people!!!

mOre sHoppin9 after exams!

i went shopping at White Sands with my mum on friday after paying a visit to my dear grandma. It seems that my grandma looks a whole lot older each time as compared to the last time when i visited her. ok.. this goes to show that i dont visit her that often. anyway, i think White Sands is in need of a tenants 'makeover' , more nice shops are needed to spice up the boring shopping mall.

saturday: went shoppin9 @ orchard with dor & xz. We spent a whole lot of time trying on clothes at far east plaza.. haha.. of course i bought something... it just so happens that whenever i go shopping at far east, i'll surely come home with something. it was fun to shop & chat with dor & xz... looking forward to the next outing!

monday: went to watch King & the Clown at Plaza Sing with cindy, xz & hj. surprised to see simin, waimun & other phto pple there. The greatest surprise was: dor was bored & wanted to ask me out for shopping but i sadly declined as my schedule is packed for the day.. but both of us ended up watching the same movie to watch the same movie, at the same theatre, at the same timeslot! Lol

the movie was nice but sad. some of the movie-goers cried.. sniffing sounds could be heard towards the end of the movie. it's like a tribute to actors who were willing to be 'clowns' and are happy enough to live a poor yet satisfied life as they were doing something that they were really passionate about.
hmm.. heard it was banned in china due to it's gay content, even though it was extremely popular in korea. Lee joon-ki has so feminine facial features that he can be prettier than some girls... nevertheless, it hasnt stop legions of females crowning him as their new korean idol. haha..
